I just got this refrigerator and like other people I couldn’t get the shelves out. One person said to just muscle them out and then push them back in. That actually worked. The back strips do come off a little but pop back in. I think if you move them around a lot it would get easier. But we aren’t moving them now that I got it where I want it. It’s a garage refrigerator for sodas and drinks and extra freezer space. But I was not happy about the shelves. Now we’ll see how well it works.
Thanks for your review, I was hoping to see how to adjust the Deli rack as I didn't want to put too much pressure on it in order to move it higher. I got mine today & disappointed that the delivery crew didn't spend more time and just plugged it in and left. My advice to other customers is to let it sit for 2 hours before you plug it in, reason being taking off the protective film on the fridge and adjusting the racks will be much easier, plus "This allows the compressor oil which lubricates the internal components to settle back into place." Also the piece of plastic that covers the top left corner of the freezer was not installed & I figured it out a couple hours later while it was still empty. The logo on mine is tilted which is a minor issue but annoying nonetheless. When you're taking off the protective film on the door hinge push it from the outside in to get all of it and pull it off from inside the fridge. I hope it will be a good fridge for years to come.
I just got The 20 inch slightly bigger with a full size deli draw..My $3,000 Whirlpool 4 door piece of crap finally died after 5 years,just when the compressor warranty was over..had problems from the first month,the LED light went out and had to be replaced,constant ice build up in the back of the freezer,crazy noises that drove me crazy..This fridge is a bit loud and hope it gets quieter...No more appliances with all the bells and whistle,including water disp and ice maker...also took out the 5 year extended warranty after the 1 year manufacturer warranty...with Lowe's..
I recently got the 20 inch too (2045vw) and this video helped me get a bit more insight into things as they're fairly similar. Was a bit hesitant to adjust the shelves but some other commentary on this video enlightened me enough to take a stab and it wasn't too hard. Definitely not straightforward like my old one but OK. Yeah, the compressor is a bit louder than my 24 year old Inglis (2nd replacement freezer fan went out on it--was a cheaper knockoff as they don't make them for that model anymore, lasted a month and a half). Re the compressors, a lot of general commentary on reviews about its noise level for this model and apparently they put very small ones in nowadays and they run all of the time and they're louder. Re size, it's true--the new one is about half the size of my Inglis that was barely audible. I'll probably invest in some sound absorption foam at some point but I'm getting used to it, not the worst I've heard. I too took out the ext warranty and I generally avoid those things, but in this case it might make sense.
@@tee4452 Yes,the noise is a big negative,thanks god my bedrooms are far away from the kitchen..it also makes very weird noises when the defrost mode is working..
Does anyone notice that it has styrofoam Installed inside air filter section. It’s weird. First I thought it’s part of packing but thank God I didn’t remove it and check on internet if it needs to be removed but I found out it’s permanently installed n should not remove. I still have confusion though. Can anyone tell, if it’s part of packaging or not and should it be removed or not.
You forgot the most important part of the review. The sound I cannot hear anywhere until it's too late. Is it a high pitched sound you can hear from other rooms? Is there any vibrating you can feel with your feet from a room away? I had this happen to me and need a fridge still today on waiting helpppp.

The title says 18.1 cu ft, however in the the video you said 13.9 cu ft.? And does it make loud noises at night? And do you recommend this refrigerator?And does the wheels lock in place?
@@thecraftyshopper4007 Just pull them straight out toward you. They have are "friction" secured in at the corners in the rear. One of the trim on the shelves came slightly off with mine when I pulled it out but it easily popped back into place.
I know this is a fairly old video but if somebody sees this and has an answer I would really appreciate it! I read in the description on an appliance site that it has 2 glass shelves. Are they talking about plexiglass or real glass???

Not very much of a review didn't show how adjustable it was.
The Deli Drawer can easily slide from the center to either side if you don't want it in the middle.

It's part of the refrigerator, all refrigerators have Styrofoam, it's just more noticeable on this model.

I think 18.1 is the fridge and freezer combines while 13.9 is just the fridge.
Can't figure out how to adjust the shelves. The few instructions are not clear that are in booklet.

It’s a 18.3 cu ft. Refrigerator.
A 13.9 would be shorter in height and a lot smaller in width.

This fridge make loud rattling noise from the stryrafoam insulation when compressor is running. Obviously defect in design.
