As we have it now, Dan Moore is our starting left tackle.
Jones at LT and Troy at RT.
some people can play to their opposite side and others can't. I was hoping JC Lathum Alabama would be our pick as he is a natural right tackle. He started at #16 to #22 range and shot up to the #7 pick.
Yeah but Fantanu will be fine he's actually played right too.
That’s how it will be I don’t get why people keep trying to say otherwise Troy is athletically and technical enough for both sides tbh
Moore beating out Jones at LT ?? Are we serious lmao
haha once I heard that I laughed because Moore was bottom 5 starting LTs last year. Jones wasn’t perfect but was way better when given opportunity to play the few starts at LT, Moore a avg swing tackle nothing more tbh
Let's Go ✨
these tackles will sort themselves out in camp. including trying Moore at RT. if moore wants job in the. nfl he needs to learn to like RT or he will be sitting at home.
Is Dan Moore is finished
We got depth at line.
FIRST ONE TO THE PARTY
He may be a better LT than Jones
That would be stupid. If jones did fine at right then Troy can too.
Based on ?

At the end of the day, it's just pushing/blocking. These men should be able to block anywhere anytime. We keep making things too complicated.
Why do the Steelers play players out of position on o line but not anywhere else please enlighten me
Given how Kevin Colber ignored the offensive line, Coach Tomlin's likely been doing the best he could with what he had. We see now, that Khan is working on the offensive line, we're getting guys that are able to solidify their positions. However, Coach Tomlin does do that with the secondary too but it's also a position where the GM's historically failed with finding talent.
It’s the NFL man…they can play both sides of the line…it’s not that difficult
As good as last year's rookie class was, there wasn't a rookie start until week 5 & that was due to injury. Moore isn't beating anyone out - he'll be anointed the starter & will have to continue to be one of the worst T's in football as his metrics clearly show he is -for at least a month before they finally give the other top 20 pick a real chance. It's borderline stupidity.
If this sounds hyperbolic, remember that DROY candidate JPJ sat on the bench while Peterson/Wallace had the worst game for a CB duo I have ever seen vs the 49ers. Is this a franchise that wants to win or is "being fair to less talented vets" more important? 1 game has been the margin the last 3+ years for making or missing the playoffs. I'm just asking?
God we need to get rid of Dan Moore
I second this
