I was introduced to Portishead through the great horror film "Nadja", starring Elina Löwensohn as Nadja and Peter Fonda as Van Helsing. And the luscious Galaxy Craze as Nadja's lover/victim. "Nadja" is more properly a psychedelic, David Lynch take on "Dracula's Daughter" as opposed to pure horror/fright. Portishead did all of the key music. This film may be difficult to find but there are clips on UA-cam. I had to buy the DVD.
