Both Revenue Expenditure and Capital Expenditure are equally important. Revenue Expenditures results constant money supply in the economy as it increases the purchasing power of people, which results in more employment generation. On the other hand Capital Expenditures ( as they are more like investment) helps in removing Supply Side Bottlenecks like Agricultural, Technical and Infrastructural backwardness. And this in return results in better utilisation of our resources leading to an increase in National Income, which will again result in more employment.
