I gotta recommend you watch Stray Kids’ cover of “I’ll Try”, by IN, Seungmin, and Chan! It’s a whole flex! Day6 is my absolute favorite Kband too, they have such intricate attention to detail in their compositions and harmonies, it’s mind blowing.

you have to know Letting Go has a rebooted version where Young K don't rap in the bridge anymore, instead they take us to the gates of heaven with their harmonies! it was inspired by Bohemian Rhapsody. you have to hear it! in one of their concerts in 2017, they performed the rebooted version PLUS the original version it was insane! one of the rarest performance they ever did. also the song was (rumored) a song for Junhyeok. they were rookies back then when he had to leave. Letting Go was their first comeback. you can see there are actually two keyboards during the group scenes. he was the main keyboardist. thank you so much for diving deeper into Day6! they'll comeback as a group very soon! Dowoon is getting discharged this July! only Wonpil to go!

I recommend 1 to 10, hurt road, Hunt, Man in a Movie, Headache, Feeling Good, Say Wow, How to Love, Deep in Love, Colors (I’m holding myself back from recommending the rest of their entire discography lol). I think it’d also be funny if you watched a funny compilation of their live performances, they have some iconic messups.
I'll Try was written about Wonpil's mom! The acapella moment in that song is so beautiful and the fact Dowoon is part of it, you can faintly hear a deeper voice that's him. Also Letting Go the fans theorized it was about their ex member and thats why there are scenes where a keyboard is there with no one playing it. But again I don't think it's been confirmed but just some insight(?) lol

So a few others, including myself have mentioned this before, but Wonpil wrote, composed and arranged 'I'll Try' for his mother, who he loves very much (he's a real mamas boy lol). I just really appreciate how much depth and emotion all the members brought to the performance. Either they all found a personal way to connect with it, or they all love Wonpil's mom very much as well 😄 lol probably both. For next steps, I think you have a few options: 1. Check out Even of Day - Day6's only sub-unit with Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon. The circumstances around the formation of the unit are kinda sad because the full band had to cancel their album promos for The Demon (Zombie album), as Jae and Sungjin needed a mental health break. Two months later, the unit was announced. They have two mini albums and the first one is super mini with just 3 tracks and a few interludes. The EoD title tracks are: 'Where The Sea Sleeps' (super cute MV disguises just how sad the song actually is lol) 'Right Through Me'. 2. B-sides / Full albums - I think the majority of what you've checked out so far have been title tracks, except 'I'll Try' and 'Better Better'. During 2017, they had the Every Day6 project where they put out a title track and a b-side each month for the whole year, so those really added up! All the songs from that project are now compiled in 2 albums called SUNRISE & MOONRISE. Day6's b-sides are something else... I don't even know where to begin with making recommendations, but off the top of my head: 'For Me', 'Afraid', 'Not Mine', 'Stop Talking', 'Deep in Love', 'I'll Remember', 'Best Part'. Honestly everything, so full album listen is really the way to go hehe. You could definitely go in order, but my absolute favourite albums are: 'The Book of Us: Entropy' 'The Book of Us: Negentropy - Chaos swallowed up in love'. Lol that title is a mouthful 🤣 3. Funny videos - Wonpilates, who made the guide, has a bunch of hilarious videos on their channel and you can learn some of the inside jokes like how they always forget their lyrics (even though they write the songs), how clumsy they are, and how Sungjin never knows what's going on with anybody in the group 😂 Btw to pronounce 'Wonpilates', just think Pilates as in Yoga & Pilates. So pil-ahh-tays 👍🏽 4. Live Stages - You've now seen a couple of live clips, so you know they sound amazing. I personally love their live stages where you can see them feed off the energy of the crowd, are always changing up how they execute different parts of the songs, and their instrumental breaks are 🔥They are also hilariously bad at lip-syncing so they almost never do, and awkwardly laugh and cringe at the few music show performances where they were told to do so. I really love the performances from their Gravity world tour, particularly 'Congratulations + You Were Beautiful' - The crowd basically sings the entire first verse of You Were Beautiful 😍 I also love the Live Clip of Walk by Even of Day 💕 Whatever you decide to do next, you really can't go wrong with these guys! Looking forward to it :)
That thunder was so loud!!! My daughter is a big fan of Day 6 (I am too but not as avid as she is). She discovered that Letting Go may have been a song about their member that left. Wonpil has a beautiful beautiful song from his solo album. It's called Unpainted Canvas. The vocals on that one are "chef's kiss".

And that I noticed you paying more attention to Young K's live vocals (that man's voice really can do anything!) and how I remembered about a video from Umu (ReacttotheK) from a few years ago about his voice.
