Wallet chains, I used to wear one on my right waist. First being having one end of the chain attached to a wallet while the other end clipped to one of the belt rings of my pants since middle school. But now I have the chain worn with one end on front right ring and other end on center rear ring of my pants (mostly inspired by heavy metal/rock music fashion). 1:54- Only Deadpool has that ability no matter how many times of wherever he gets torn up, be it arms or legs. lol
5:09 A blue whale is actually capable of averaging 2-10 bpm but only when they are diving really low. When near the surface, they average about 25-37 bpm.
I'm pretty sure bread's been villainized too much. Everyone always goes "aw, bread are carbs and carbs are bad for weight gain" or something. You need to eat like 4 whole loaves to get a pound, and by then you'll have a yeast infection.
Fun facts, slowest heartbeat in mammals is the blue whale, with 2-4 beats per minute. Fastest is the pygmy shrew with a whopping 1200 beats per minute.
I had surgery for my achalasia at a teaching hospital last year. There were a lot of people in the surgical room watching. I was very surprised. I asked them give me new car smell before i fell asleep.
This guy has reacted to so many Family Guy scenes I'm surprised they didn't reference him yet. They referenced the fat guy who cosplays Peter but not him?
4:19 this one weirdly is the ONLY one i have context for, Brian started jogging to impress a woman, he enjoyed the air in his fur (as dogs do) then Brian did his classic Brian thing and, this is the results, as for his leg snap i think the fibula (ila?) didn't show up where it snapped because dog legs are structured in a different way to humans were there back joint behind the knee would be the a humans heel, dog anatomy is fascinating
0:36 "Who remembers Wallet Chains?" Me: I do! In fact, I used to have a wallet that was on a chain once 😂 ! Chain isn't that long, but long enough to stop a pick pocket from running off with it!
6:40 Tell Dr. Mengele about this (doctors don't attack people). this doctor conducts various experiments on people. Basically, like the "squad 731", however, these people in the squad were a little more cruel.
A little off topic, but male dogs do have nipples! I used to teach puppy training classes and when we were covering health checks, I let the owners of male pups know this. The main reason is obviously for health reasons, but also due to a previous owner thinking her dog had a tick on his belly, tried to tweeze it off and realised she was tugging on his nipple. Everybody cringes at that story :')
One injury I just remembered I had was during high school I was in my metal shop class one of my classmates had put one of the huge wrenches on the top hook and when I grabbed it the sudden whirring sound of a grinder shocked me and I dropped the wrench which hit me behind the steel toe implant in my boot, thankfully my foot wasn't broken but it was bruised for a few weeks another time a wire needle from a grinder flew like a bullet and struck me in the chin and ignoring the burning feeling I grabbed it and plucked it out thankfully it only required burn cream and a band-aid. Tell me doc have you ever treated metal shop injuries or injuries related to the use of big tools and power tools
When I had my wisdom teeth removed the dentist asked me if I would be willing to consent for students to watch. Of course I said yes! The upper ones came out in 5 minutes, the lower ones in 2hrs because the roots were curved inside my mandible, like claws. Also I got to hear and see the whole procedure so it was an awesome learning experience for me as well.
another great video as always. quick question: is it "normal" to have your heart beat faster because of your physical disability? speaking of how hearts beat faster and such...

there's an old show called celebrity death match, you could react to that, but it was made back when violence of insane levels(for cartoons) were fine in tv
This has absolutely nothing to do with this video. But I've been playing a video game recently called Unicorn Overlord. And there's one optional scene where a woman begins to obsessively admire the build of a substantially muscular man. But since she's a scientific type, she's referring to all the features of his body by using the scientific terms of all his very specific muscles. To the point where the guy just gets confused and freaked out, and decides to leave because of how weird things are getting. And while I couldn't follow any of what she was saying (aside from the closing line as he's running off where she remarks about his great glutes), I found myself thinking, "Dr. Wagner would probably coherently understand all of this."
I have a St Jude Mechanical aortic valve and many times in a teaching hospital when one dr finds out I am there they will bing in multiple teaching rounds to see me so the students can hear what it actually sounds like. I give my permission to hear my so future doctors could have first hand experience.
Does Anasicoria effect how the eyes dilate? I had not heard of this condition previously though I think I may have seen individuals who have this condition, so I'm curious as to if it not only impacts the pupil size but the dilation of the individual pupils.
If there was a subreddit called r/funnybutwrong this would be in it. We need that subreddit. Petition to start r/funnybutwrong and put these med scenes in it🤣
I have fairly long hair and I shed like a Malamute, so it ends up everywhere. Twice, I've started to remove a strand only to have it tighten like a garrotte and leave behind a new definition for the word "haircut." One got my tongue and the other time I had to stop mid stream and solve the most important knot-puzzle of my life.
I don't know about more family guy scenes, but if you're interested in a new series I recommend an old British series called Bottom. It's a lot of old school slapstick with a few medical scenes.
@@DoctorER Oh, I guess I got the names mixed up, because I took Biology class in 9th grade and they called it a compound fracture, they even showed pictures of what the fracture looked like and it was the same as Brian’s injury.

Hi Dr Wagner. Are we really at part 21? Wow! I love your Family Guy, American Dad and Simpsons medical scenes. Keep up the awesome work. 👍

The type of fracture on Brian’s leg is a compound fracture, which can cause the bone to break through the muscle and skin
