So good. Suspended my disbelief. Felt like a real future. And the production was able to make it all happen at a light rail station? Remarkable.
It's clever to make a modern silent film especially when the acting can do it! Cute short film with subtle larger meanings. 😄
Thank you for your feedback MegaMan X! We are so proud of our amazing actors Jack Doherty and Abbey-Rose Leed! ❤
This is a commercial for Mars colonization in the future?
Wow! This was sooooo beautiful! ^_^ Simple, yet effective! :)
Thank so much! 😊
WARNING! I thought it would be fun to get involved with the interactive part of this film. Like an idiot, I did the "Mars Mail" thing at the end and put in my phone number to get the text. I was remembering the good old days when "Lost" had an interactive element online that went along with the TV show, so I went for it. Now I have a ton of scam texts coming through where the sender acts like we know each other, or is saying my number is in their contacts but they cannot remember who I am, and is trying to get me to respond. I don't. One phone number hit me up 4 or 5 times trying to get me to respond before I blocked the number. I NEVER had these kinds of texts before I put my information in, and it started up within a couple of hours after I screwed up. DO NOT BE AN IDIOT LIKE ME! They sold my information. Thanks DUST &/or SPACE RABIT!
Not one iota of dialogue. How awesome! The connections we make go well beyond words; they belong to the Realm of the Heart. A sacred recognition. Priceless.

I hope there will be a second part. This short is not completed yet. :)
Beautiful. Emotive. Poignant. Hard to do all that in just 6 minutes. VERY well done.
Beautifully acted and beautiful actors! Great start to a full story I’d like to see (and hear).
Cool concept, very well executed ... but with A-RL, how could you miss? 💖 Props! ^v^
A really great piece of short film work.
Did anyone else scan the QR code at the end and send a message to see if she made it to Mars?
Until I saw this little interactive end tag, I was sitting wondering why the subject had been a trip to Mars.
I havent had a response yet to the text message I sent so stay tuned, I'll tell you if I do.
Got a reply straight away and a link to receive emails from Mars! Very cool
@@diverdave641 I definitely sent to the right number. Hmm. Still no reply. Did you have to send something specific? I sent the message he typed.
@@lmarshall9093 The number ending 55? I just asked if she made it lol
@@diverdave641 yes nothing yet.
It actually works, I finaly recieved a mail without any link. With a cool text. If I suspect something I'll spam it.
Now that was super well done. I could feel the gears working in his head, and I would have done the same thing thinking about those last numbers. Well set up, and also great tie in to continue the story across platforms! Transmedia isn't dead :) Two thumbs up!
Thank you for your feedback Cache the Line ! Glad the silent film worked for you and we also had a lot of fun working out the Transmedia features in the film. It was a first for us!
this is really nicely done story about moment which may define change in life of two people
Cool story.
Not a fan of the "Black" screen interruptions in the intro even for artistic usage, it just doesn't provide a good immersion.
More creative than most things these days.
I believe.
Most underrated channel.. Awesome content.. Love this
But every week even everyday they try to post a short film. The hard work behind that. So i said it's underrated. 3 million for the this class is not upto the mark..
A simple, romantic tale told perfectly.
Hi David Palmer, thank you very much for your feedback and for watching our film! ❤
Very Cute . . . The Red-Haired Actress Is Very Pretty . . . :-)
Abbey-Rose is a Total Package
Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 great acting, great cinematography, no text and very reduced but tremendously effective use of CGI! I would love to see what happens next... 😍
Hi Nicolas Olonetzky, thank you kindly for your wonderful feedback. We are also so pleased with the performance of Jack Doherty and Abbey Rose Leed!!! The CGI was done by ‚Pixel‘ in Melbourne and James Vella!
"Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids, In fact it's cold as hell"
Thank you for your feedback and for watching the film!
Certified Gold!!!!!
I've lived in Florida my whole life. When I went to college in Orlando, FL we could sit outside and watch the night launches of the space shuttle...they were so bright you could look away and see the shadow they cast on the ground, even from hundreds of miles away. Now I live on the FL gulf coast. The launches aren't as bright these days, but I can still look east and see the rocket plumes going up. They are the most powerful machines ever created by humanity, and I hope kids can see those launches and one day imagine themselves riding one of those into the sky.
Thats awesome! I've never seen a rocket launch in person before. Definitely on my the bucket list. Honestly I get a bit emotional just watching live SpaceX launches, it's exciting to see!
Absolutely brilliant filmmaking!!
Great and Short 👍
It is hard to get actors to do a film based on body language and facial expressions only.
Excellent short film. Just enough sci-fi context but for me, this was a perfectly pitched love story. The storytelling did just enough (show don't tell) and the acting was on point. I certainly felt I wanted to know what happened next!
Well done.
Oh, and I''ve just received a text from Violet.... 🙂
Even we want to know what is going to happen next!!!!! ❤ Thank you for watching Tony Reeves
Abbey-Rose is a great gem of a discovery and hope to see her in more vids. Total Package
Thats just sweet
She greatly reminds me of spiderman 1 girlfriend.
This is so damn cute I could cry
Absolute genius !!! This is an escape game. Pure perfection !
that’s so sweet, perfect for the valentines day!
Realy cool. Positive, wordless, romantic without being soapy. I love it !
That was so cute.
This was fun! Would love to see more, thanks!
The coolest, best done short movies ever! -
Lol it’s north Melbourne train line
Thoroughly enjoyable.
My text to her lead... (hope)
"Do I have this right?"
Hoping she would say,
"Yes, you do."
"I'd like to see you.
When can I see you?"
It all starts there.
I love this romantic...
Yeah. Definitely more needed.
I was gonna delete my comment which was a joke, but I can't find it now LOL
I love this concept!
So well done, hope to see it continued! 👍👍
Definitely filmed in Melbourne Australia
Yep. North Melbourne station.
That is right! We love filming in Melbourne ❤
Thank you! I love it when sci-fi is bright, warm, hopeful, and positive. I hate it that Sci-Fi is often gruesome, dystopian, and depressing.
So fking simple.
Nice, great job.
A nice one for Valentine's Day tomorrow. Very sweet
And the moral of the story is ‘relationships call for some effort, and thought’. I imagined a happy ever after. Don’t ruin it for me. BTW well done. If I knew it was a silent movie I would have skipped it.
Wow, a mere 30 seconds of exposition could’ve turned this confusing jumble solid 2 out of 10 into a 6 or 7 out of 10.
This is so beautiful. So expressive in few minutes.....about love future....and hope. This is DUST.
I Scan the QR CODE and when I got the right number, I text hey hello but it just says blocking is active
looks like north melbourne lol
You know it! 😊
Very well done by all involved. Only one complaint it was too short. Love to see the next e[pisode.
My carrier says "text not sent" with no further explanation. Man, I so want to see how this adorable story continues.
✨💖🪐💖✨
Very sweet. Well done all around.
Thanks! Really appreciate the kind words :)
How can I watch the rest if I don't have access to a device that can read QR?
(There are still a few of us out here...)
YaY!!! well done!
Very Nice! Quite Unexpected! Would Recommend! Need MOAR! 🐱
Lovely!
Cute.
Great work
I liked this.
looks like the new north melbourne statio. Used to look like a public lavatory
Well done! Fell in love with both of them. The red head wins if course
Lovely.
Had such high hopes for Space X and Mars travel until Elon Musk turned full fledged fascist. Sadly, looks like it will be a few more generations before we see people on Mars.
Hi Patrick Crowley, there is a lot of bad publicity out there st the moment. Don‘t let it dishearten you!
Have to send a blind text to Australia to see the "rest of the story"?
Superb! Beautiful setting, talented yet subtle acting and a plot that made me smile. Thank you for making my day ☺️
That is a very good film. Worth watching
The old North Melbourne train station, Melbourne Australia. Thought I was seeing things at first? lol
Great spotting @Some random Aussie guy
@@kaiserinfilms4616 My favourite Station as a kid, beautiful old palm trees everywhere. All gone now :( Great Film by the way !!
Brilliant movie xx
👏🥳😎
Very sweet. It is akin to this Chinese story "Turn Left, Turn Right".
Thank you Julie Steimle! We will check-out your recommendation! Thanks for sharing!
Who called/ texted the number?
No dialogue but it said so much. Well done!
Love the interactive bit at the end
Cute redhead.
+100
This is cute. And she's adorable😍
So, did anyone send a SMS to the number?
In the future everyone has an Australian mobile number
Wouldn‘t that be hilarious ❤
Perfection.
Brilliant! Lovely short love story.
Melbourne has never looked so good...
The midnite train to nowhere
Journey
Was this shot with the Sony a6500?
Lovely and well done!
Thanks Matthew!
Did Elon Musk order this SpaceX commercial?)
😂 Maybe..?
It seems so romantic! Wonderful!
Great to see a Melbourne made film. Good one I enjoyed it. Dunno about sending a text at the end though :). I would be curious to know if Abbey-Rose has ever worked with director Robert Chuter or maybe auditioned for him. I do stills for him and kinda remember her face.
Irritatingly sweet (:
Thank you for your feedback morpheox!
Makes sense, when you use a landline to call the moon, you'll use the train to mars.
Hi Liebe Friedrn Worldwide, thank you for your feedback.
@@kaiserinfilms4616 It was really good how she gave him the last 2 digits. I hope you had fun making this movie.
The animated brochure is interesting. Many years ago, I had a similar dream, where I flipped through a short book and each page was animated. I also flew a kite that had animated stuff on it. But that could have been from TV. My memory of such things is strange lol. I know bendable electronics and displays is being worked on. I hope we do get such things in the future; but I think if such things existed back in the 80's and 90's, it might have been much more appreciated and wonderful.
Hi Remnar, thank you for your feedback and for watching our film! We had a lot of fun with the design of the brochure! Isn’t it wonderful how film can be a visionary into the future. Hopefully we will get to see it in real life sometime 😊
Absolutely fantastic! Just discovered this channel and cannot wait to watch all the other videos. I'm going to recommend this channel to everyone I know.
Absolutely fantastic. Just started watching these and this, a silent film, requires great skill not only to keep us watching, but to make us believe in it. And this works! Impressive! Thanks...
Any figure out the number?
A video full of such clichés :)
Who else had to check out the QR?
So in the future, humans can't speak and we've lost a digit on phone numbers because, what? There are less people to give numbers to? What's the reason for her to not speak her number to him?
North Melbourne station
