It's not overkill...everyone should use a Big Bud to till their yard prior to seeding grass!
Two hours of setup and 30 seconds of tillage work.

I compost nearly 50 ton of equine compost every year. I have to turn it a few times a month. I have it tested by a lab. Some I "store" is 5 years old. No NOX, no ammonia & 6.7ph. The organic gardeners locally buy tons from me a year. Pretty good racket, lol. Best part is it comes off my neighbor's horse training facility. I just have the room to store it & turn it into fertilizer.

I used that in a garden one time and learned a valuable lesson. Turns out horses eat a lot of weeds and the seeds from those weeds pass right through them. I grew some beautiful vegetables but I never got done weeding.

THIS! This is similar to the smell of my childhood and I love it. Except mine was cow poop. My wife (and kids) thought I was mad when I told them that. Now, after 30 years, we've moved from Africa back to Scotland and we still have the same smell from the nearby farms. My family have not changed their minds. And now they smell it for themselves they think I am truly beyond mad !

If memory serves me right! There was a John Deere commercial. Had a big track hoe planting a little tree, any capture said, tree planted in 2 minutes. The next one was in the kitchen, looking through the looking through the glass sliding door, you seen the biggest combine they made at the time go by! The capture said back yard mowed in 3.5 seconds. So using a Big Bud is not Overkill. That's what was needed to get the job done right!! Y'all stay safe

you cannot beat a good lump of fym for any crop. But that has to be the largest tractor ever used to do a home lawn! But it is a great machine even if the disc set wants oiling!!!!! Then we get the old John Deere with the small roller. Whatever size will the lawn mower be? Great videos.

Thanks for another great video Welkers.
    It was interesting and enjoyable.
I have to say I never saw a big bud used to do lawn work and the field tillage unit to work the soil around a house. 🏡 there is a place for everything I guess including the horse manure. I would think when your horse manure gets wet it will stink but maybe not. Time will tell. Should grow some real good grass!!!!!
Nick from your testing of the soil looks like you have respectable moisture where you put down some winter wheat seeds. That is a good sign for a good year. Let’s hope it continues!!!!!!!!"
Getting your augers ready to go. Getting ready for spring field work-yeah!!!!!!!’
Big Buds are ready to go for wheat seed to be put in the ground. Yeah!!!!
    Plus a new muffler.
Thanks for everything Bob snd colby and patch and Scott and Nick.
You all take care and be safe. Prayers your way for continuing moisture for the crops.

My great grandfather planted some trees around our farm, to prohibit the farm from wind damage. We farm in a very high yield and hilly region, i am even thinking about planting tree rows in the field to stop the water erosion. We have water erosion categories where tilling is already limited by law, trees will actually help me to allow to till... I mean, i see the erosion, but limiting tilling by law is quite heavy for my understanding. In the old days, about 80 years ago, we had a ton of fruit trees here which were planted to prohibit the village from strong winds/stroms and also stop flooding and water erosion, sometimes i think we are to greedy by removing trees or hedges.

I see you got a lot there horse crap take a few totes fill them up with the horse crap water pump them up through a sprinkler and fertilizes your gardens and your grass. Let it sit in the totes with water for about 48 hours and then you can just run water through it and fertilizing, especially new lawn or garden we have done that every year for ours

Nick " We can't tell you what it came off of...yet" Hmm I wonder what that freshly painted 3406 cat motor is for. Wait did I see the hood to something blue sitting behind the 9370? Of and that something blue now has a black decal on it hmmmm. Can't wait to see the restoration. Only reason I found you guys was because of the 9370 rebuild
