*Decades* people. Yes, hardly a blip on the cosmic scale when both parties are immortal, relatively timeless aspects of the Almighty (fallen or otherwise). Max - Merrix, whichever name you prefer - didn't develop these feelings just over the course of this series. No, this is *much* older than that. However long it took for friendship to become something more on her end, that's still probably several dozen years spent waiting for her beloved feather-brain to catch a hint. Talk about a slow burn!

I mean, to be fair, there are different types of wrath. There’s the obvious berserker rage “I’m gonna fucking kill you you son of a bitch” type, which is all loud in your face and obvious, Then there is the more subtle, slow quiet wrath, like what meliodas has, and it’s arguably one of the more scary ones. It’s the latter which I expect would be more likely with our angel here. I would also not be opposed to him ending up being an archangel/seraph. Either way, Our boy is going to kick some serious ass

I finally get to listen this after a long week of school tests, I just know that the whole thing I was dying inside screaming. When they kiss, gosh, the fangirl inside me go like crazy. Amazing Briar. I love it.
Oh Merrix, the listener (in my case) is a male angel, Not only are they dense, they are also fairly innocent and naive. They would have never known you had the hots for them unless you told them to their face and proved it.

You know, that could make sense. God is often said to be wrathful. A personification of wrath could be any kind of wrath. Perhaps rigteous wrath, direct at the corrupt, for instance. If that was us, we didn't kill him, so clearly it's not blind anger/wrath.
