John Cameron Fogerty (born May 28, 1945) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter. Together with Doug Clifford, Stu Cook, and his brother Tom Fogerty, he founded the band Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), for which he was the lead singer, lead guitarist, and principal songwriter. The group had nine top-10 singles and eight gold albums between 1968 and 1972, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.
Since CCR parted ways in 1972, #JohnFogerty has had a successful solo career, which continues. He was listed on Rolling Stone magazine's list of 100 Greatest Songwriters (at number 40) and the list of 100 Greatest Singers (at number 72). His songs include "Proud Mary", "Bad Moon Rising", "Fortunate Son", "Green River", "Down on the Corner", "Who'll Stop the Rain", and "Centerfield".

I graduated high school in`75 ... these tunes were crankin` out on the radio everywhere ... thanks John Fogerty and all the CCR members for making my teenage years some of the best years in history

I was at this show. Sends chills up and down just thinking about it. Was like a religious experience.
John Fogerty is surely one of the most underrated singers in rock, and I'm not just talking about singer-guitarists. He still has all his old range and sounds GREAT. True he doesn't have all that abrasive grit but hey he doesn't need it! His voice already has such character.

Yes, John Fogerty is a legend. It's great to see him in such good form. CCR were around (and admired) back in 67/68 when I lived in London. The band was great then, with different members, These members are no more. John Fogerty prevailed still as good, or better. Great rock'n'roll.

He's incredible, singing much like he did about 45 years ago! Singing live is hard, but I hear many of the original elements that made Fogerty, Fogerty!

Holy shit! I am shocked that after 30 years of one of the grittiest screaming voices in rock, that this dude can still sing. He must have really good technique.
Technique is a big part but I think the thing that saved him over the years is he never did drugs or smoked.

More like 40-50 yrs for Fogerty, he's a monster.
I knew he could still sing his ass off, but he's better at lead guitar now than he ever was. And It's amazing to me.. usually when you go see someone like him they only play the hits, even though they have tones of other material. In Fogerty's case he only wrote hits. What a talent.

These songs where my lullaby's when I was an adolescent in the early seventies. Then later I sang my babies to sleep with Proud Mary, Have You Every Seen The Rain and Fogerty's version of Midnight Special. .
