Happy New Year demonjoe, looking forward to viewing and supporting your content in 2022. I 100% agree with you on Stochastic submachine gun. I have a smallbore, ricochet/high cal, feeding frenzy, multi-kill clip roll and it shreds.
For ignition code, do have 2. One with blinding, ambitious,frenzy and one with demo instead of frenzy. For energy blinding grenades, empty vessel. Auto loading, blind plus unrelenting. So you can heal and blind when in trouble. For situational weapons. I don’t use but like the potential of Genesis rocket launchers. Good if boss has shielded adds round it.
Arctic haze is definitely slept on. I have a subsistence vorpal roll to use for GMs or things with barrier champs this season and I love it. Granted I'd prefer anti-bartier scout but arctic haze is a great option. It's also not terrible on PvP.
That's the same one I use. I'm a solo player so this paired with subsistence is great for trash ads. I haven't tried it in PvP yet so I'll have to give it a go.
Honestly pretty happy to see Sacred Provenance on here, I have 2 of them I like with almost the exact same roll- Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds, Rapid Hit/Outlaw, Kill Clip + Range MW They’re the exact same roll, just one with Rapid Hit and the other with Outlaw, and it’s always my go-to pulse rifle for anything PvE. Would highly recommend!
Honestly, the only reason my Arctic Haze is currently in my vault is because we were bestowed with Chroma Rush last season and I fell in love. Haze really is a solid AR though, I also recommend ppl go farming for a decent roll of it.
I was nodding my head in agreement for most of this video, but when you started talking about Pardon Our Dust, and Auto-Loading vs. Slideshot on blinding GLs... you were speaking to my SOUL right there. I swear I have made this exact same argument a trillion times on Reddit and here on UA-cam. I ALSO love a slideshot Ignition Code, but whenever I was in GMs, I'd actually take my blinding Ignition Code with SURPLUS, instead of slideshot, purely because I found just having a straight up buff to reload speed was more consistently useful than having my special reload be a thing that occasionally slid me out of cover or otherwise disadvantaged me. Blind nades are the truth. I've loved them ever since I got my Truthteller in Arrivals, and I was super sad when we finally got a kinetic blinding GL but it DIDN'T have Auto-Loading Holster. Pardon Our Dust, to me, is Bungie rectifying things, and I one million percent agree that people need to make sure they get this. Besides, you don't need to SPAM blinding nades, you just shoot one, then move back to your actual weapon. Slideshot is just unnecessary when blinding is its primary role.
I gave a few minutes thought about the Arctic Haze. But I don't think it would make me swap out my go-to anti-barrier autorifle. Seventh Seraph carbine with Armor Piercing, Auto-loading, vorpal edit: After further consideration my attitude was unwarranted. Picked up a high stability Subsistence/Vorpal Arctic Haze and it feels pretty good after some testing. Triple Tap would be better for GM content but I'm never upset with Subsistence on a 50 in the mag auto rifle
I honestly love stochastic variable as well for one reason too, the ability to basically turn it into an precision frame at a moments notice with phase magazine. It’s also the ONLY non retired one (I think) with that perk available in the game EDIT: I also just recently started using my sacred provenance as I love that aggressive frame pulse as well although my best role is only outlaw and headseeker but it still does great!!

Gonna be honest. I wasn't expecting this list to be as good as it is. In fact, I almost didn't watch it because of my preconceived notion that is would be some kind of clickbait but the thumbnail saved it. My apologies. These recommendations don't get made by someone who doesn't play the game a lot or doesn't understand situational weapon play and rolls in Destiny. I'd imagine this video is pretty helpful to less experienced players. Particularly ones that intend to play the game low-man where you have to be more clever about your choices. From someone with 5k hours in D2 PVE, really nice job, Joe!
Honestly, when I saw the first weapon on your list, the Arctic Haze, I wasn't that shocked. The other day though, I was doing Altars and this titan was using the Arctic Haze with a subsistence vorpal role like yours which had 36.5 THOUSAND kills on it. I just found it a bit ironic
Another slept on PvE gun for sure is the Jian 7 Rifle with Disruption Break + (Rampage/Swash/Dragonfly). Only gun that can roll DB + a damage perk I know of. Great video though :)!
I had a Demo / AJ Judgment drop from the hidden chest and it's amazing. Been running it with a One-Two Sudden Death Shinobu's / Melee Well build and it's arc ability city. Have Well buffs? Melee. No buffs? Grenade. Neither? Judgment. Around 70-80% uptime on one grenade charge and spamming is definitely possible with trash ads around and Judgment.
Good list. I appreciate list like this. I’m constantly looking to try out underrated guns and combos to find some hidden gems. You’ve also inspired me to go back to using warming builds. After they nerfed them I was like war minds are dead to me. But honestly I think they are still viable. So what if the nuke range isn’t what it used to be, the perks of having enemies take more damage and deal less damage while around a cell is something not to be looked over. Keep up the good work bud
Love artic haze - got triple tap vorpal roll been a favorite for a while - Parton our dust hasn’t left my loadout since it dropped just got auto loading/vorpal blinding last night - great video thanks for shedding light on off meta weapons
I have a surplus/payload annual skate…I ran the master GoA…and just for fun, I ran it on the last boss and it was SO good for clearing the adds. It is so fun to use
May I add the bequest sword from DSC, it's criminally underrated! This sword has the biggest impact stat out of all the legendary swords, it's a Burst damage king with mask of bakris since it's arc, surrounded also makes wonders to this
I think the main reason arctic haze isn’t used much this season is because of just how good fusions are right now, especially with no kinetic fusions yet
@@odinsonjr0240 I’m one of those who keeps up with the whole datamine stuff, and there was datamines and leaks of a stasis fusion named Done and Dusted (i think that was the name) before S15 released, but it isn’t in the game so it’s still a possibility, I suppose.
Couldn't agree more on a lot of weapons on this list, especially stochastic variable and sacred provenance. As someone who is always preaching at his friends to open their minds to other weapon rolls besides the "meta", it's cool seeing another content creator trying to share the info to the masses. That little arc smg is among my favorite weapons! I pair it with Bask of Makris (Mask of Bakris) for that 10 seconds of super melt to proc the 3x multi kill clip
I fell in LOVE with the FF, MKC Stochastic after that video but then I got a roll with surplus, wellspring which is my personal favorite combo in the game, same as my Trustee!

My friends know me as the mad lad who brings crimson and ace to GMs, using a champion ability (thermoclastic stike, arthrys's) and my heavy for champions, with my energy being a sniper. Some seasons are great for it, some aren't. Can't wait to see some more of these guns be used.
so with some of the weapons you mention they are outclassed by other options, in the case of Avalanch its a Machine Gun which even with the 20% buff are unfortunately bad for several reasons at least in endgame this is due to taking the heavy slot which most good dps weapons are in and for giving up the heavy you get a average add clear weapon, I say average or even more because they dont oneshot minours in high end or majours like a lot of other options do, the way the ammo economy works harms them badly. The could get round this with solid artifact weapon mods but without that they are in a poor spot which sucks because they are fun to use. for Point of the stag its a good option if we didnt have so many other arc bow options if you dont wnat to farm them then yes its good as a starting point (kappa) but if you have patinace then a ARSENIC BITE-4B with explocive arrow head and rampage is the god of arc and bows overall at least in terms of dealing with champions, and the new wolftone draw for more interesting roll optiong. if you dont want to farm rolls then yes its very good. why does everyone rave about stocastic variable ? its ok but if you want a good sub go get shayuras wrath I wouldnt have mentiond this but you do have another trial weapon in your list and a bad roll shyauras will outclass almost any god roll pvp or pve sub and even outclasses god roll autorifles. oh boy Annual Skate yeah has some ok rolls but its a pain in the butt to get a good roll as its in the world loot pool if you ahve to hunt through the world loot pool for a weapon then its by default bad unless it has a utter best in arcatype god roll which annul skaet is not then dont bother because of how hard it is to gat anything from world lootpools. Outside of being one of 2 soloar 140s its a rather bad hand cannon statwise it can get timed payload which is good for champions but otherwise its meh, comparing it to ignius which is actualy the best 120 in the game for pvp and pve is weird when they are difefrent arcatypes especialy with a huge list of godrolls igniaus can get, like one for all rappid hit being divine for endgame where hitting 3 targets for a huge damage bost is easy as pie in nightfalls or anywhere in fact, and you can target farm it easily (even if trials is pain its less so than world loot pool hunting). the saw has the same issues as the avalanch its only big thing is its amazing for warmind builds but they aite a nerf and although still viable there are better options that are easier to come by. only thing Ill say about pardon out dust is DO NOT SLEEP ON DANGER ZONE WITH BLINDING, danger zone effect blinding nades area of effect which is normaly capped at 5 but danger zone extends it. otherwise its tied with ignition code just pick the one you like the feel of most they are bacicaly identicle beyond one having unieque sound effects. if you made it here have a nice day/night

At 3:38 he mentions a roll I've been hunting for since master vog came out, on a 140 HC he just mentioned, everyone's favorite Fatebringer... The HC that I use as inventory clutter when I'm not on that character because I have 3 great rolls

i have the sacred providence pulse and while I think the black armory blast furnace will be the best of the 4 burst architype providence is still cracked out of its mind and it helps the it the only non sunset one of the 4 burst architype I hope we get more of this 4 burst architype in Witch Queen

Avalanche does feel very nice. And the Stochastic Variable SHREDS, I have MultiKill Clip & HiCal Rounds (and sadly Zen Moment), but it's my fav SMG next to Extraordinary Rendition. I also had a very old Firing Line Seraph Saw that I accidentally dismantled long ago. Was my favorite HMG 😭 I very much love the feeling of Saw over Swarm, anytime
Is it worth grinding for? Never got it from the dungeon and been thinking about running the dungeon solo just to have some fun. Might be worth grabbing it while i’m doing prophecy runs.
@@grxy5924 well there's the demo/ junkie roll great for both pve and pvp and then there's slideshot / timed payload. there's other combos too. might just like it, of course practice with it to get better with it like any other gun.
My stochastic is fluted/polygon, appended/ricochet/extended, feeding frenzy/mkc w stability mw. I don’t think I’ve ever used it. My annual skate is triple tap/ timed, tunnel vision/timed and slide shot/timed. Never used it.
most slept on to me is the artic haze and when you need solar kills this does it .. triple tap vorpal genesis vorpal and couple others . Feels good too and since D1 I always loved the FWC scout rifle and end of the day use what feels good to you cuz you can still beat meta
Alright, arctic haze has been one of my top personal weapons, judgement I don't use (but it is a very sleek and suave handcannon), but don't dis my thermal erosion, please. How you foamed for Avallanche is how I feel with my weak gun. I just love it for the body design, really... But jokes aside, I'm happy to have learn3d that I've been using slept on weapons more than meta weapons. Makes me feel good knowing half my arsenal is filled with good non-meta weapons. And now that you're planning to put out streams, I can try and catch some between classes! Tha k you for the videos!
I definitely want a good Avalanche but Thermal Erosion really not considered good? I have one with stability and Dragonfly and it clears ads super easy.
Osmosis is better than adrenaline junkie for judgement if you play around with elemental well mods, especially solar. The only trade off is some mod slots
I have spent well over 12 hrs farming arctic haze and I have yet to see a vorpal. I’m at a point where if I have a vorpal drop idgf about the other perks I’ll keep it. Got a super nice outlaw thresh though that in low lvl stuff has my super back so quick. But yea that vorpal is not dropping for me
I absolutely love my Arctic haze with dragonfly, it clears rooms in pve amazingly plus with anti barrier mids it's my go to auto rifle, my old reliable
What’s a good way to grind for it? I honestly hate europa and anything that has to do with that desolate planet. Is there an easy way to grind for these? I’m assuming it’s either lost sectors or just keep running the strike from europa?
Adept Igneous is better than Annual Skate in PVE you just have to roll a 5 for 5 Poly/Ricochet/Rapid Hit/One For All/ Stability MW for it to be viable on controller. K&M Players need Fluted Barrel and Handling MW. The thing hits like a truck.
I love Avalanche. I shamefully use this in Gambit a lot for Invasions. Been getting a full wipe with this bad baby having Killing wind + vorpal. Popping Super-poppers so easy on bottom tree voidwalker.
Archons Thunder is sick, mine has mulligan/rampage. Wish it had something better than mulligan, but rampage is doing most of the work. not a fan of Avalanche, 900 RPM too fast.
I use Arctic Haze every day, ever since it came out. I like how it feels and I personally think one of the better sites. All 3 characters have at least 1.
Why people didn't use the arctic haze? Maybe because when this weapon came out everyone were still using a summoner. I wasn't, and I am glad I choose to give a chance to this
the main reason I hate having primary ammo weapons that in the energy slot (ex: the auto rifle) is their use is so widely dependent upon the burn / matchgame. If you have a beast god-rolled solar anti-barrier AR that you love but the match game shields are arc and void then its utterly uselss and so frustrating. Like for me I would love to bring my BRX to every endgame gun fight but I can't b/c its solar locked
Agreed. That’s one of my biggest issues lol a lot of my God roll stuff or just good rolls in general, are either void or arc. Seems like i’m in a deficit of good solar based weapons? Idk kinda weird lol but it def makes things interesting having to use weapons you don’t typically use, just to get that solar damage
I do think you are SEVERELY underestimating the power of Ancient Gospel in PvE. I have a Rapid Hit + Dragonfly roll and it makes HUGE KABOOMS. Like very large. Ancient also is unique in look and sound. Ancient deserves a spot imo on this list because of how underrated it truly is. It's only bad Perk in PvP is Dragonfly and it's only bad Perk in PvE is Eye of the Storm. We'll maybe that and Rangefinder in PvE

Chroma Rush filled the void left by the Steelfeather. I love both those guns.

Biting winds is crazy good too. I personally love surplus and explosive head on that bow. Definitely also gets slept on

stochastic is also the only 900 that can roll with high caliber rounds i believe

I found a feeding frenzy multikill clip stochastic variable a few months ago and i’ve been obsessed with it since. Such a fun gun

Bastion is currently the only one, and it’s only kinetic due to it firing literal slugs as the fusion bolts

I love how there are so many weapons in the sandbox now. After the sunset at the beginning of Beyond light the loot pool felt so damn empty.

for Point of the stag its a good option if we didnt have so many other arc bow options if you dont wnat to farm them then yes its good as a starting point (kappa) but if you have patinace then a ARSENIC BITE-4B with explocive arrow head and rampage is the god of arc and bows overall at least in terms of dealing with champions, and the new wolftone draw for more interesting roll optiong. if you dont want to farm rolls then yes its very good.
why does everyone rave about stocastic variable ? its ok but if you want a good sub go get shayuras wrath I wouldnt have mentiond this but you do have another trial weapon in your list and a bad roll shyauras will outclass almost any god roll pvp or pve sub and even outclasses god roll autorifles.
oh boy Annual Skate yeah has some ok rolls but its a pain in the butt to get a good roll as its in the world loot pool if you ahve to hunt through the world loot pool for a weapon then its by default bad unless it has a utter best in arcatype god roll which annul skaet is not then dont bother because of how hard it is to gat anything from world lootpools. Outside of being one of 2 soloar 140s its a rather bad hand cannon statwise it can get timed payload which is good for champions but otherwise its meh, comparing it to ignius which is actualy the best 120 in the game for pvp and pve is weird when they are difefrent arcatypes especialy with a huge list of godrolls igniaus can get, like one for all rappid hit being divine for endgame where hitting 3 targets for a huge damage bost is easy as pie in nightfalls or anywhere in fact, and you can target farm it easily (even if trials is pain its less so than world loot pool hunting).
the saw has the same issues as the avalanch its only big thing is its amazing for warmind builds but they aite a nerf and although still viable there are better options that are easier to come by.
only thing Ill say about pardon out dust is DO NOT SLEEP ON DANGER ZONE WITH BLINDING, danger zone effect blinding nades area of effect which is normaly capped at 5 but danger zone extends it. otherwise its tied with ignition code just pick the one you like the feel of most they are bacicaly identicle beyond one having unieque sound effects.

First arctic haze I got about 3 months ago was outlaw vorpal and I love it
I have 2 judgement hand cannons, one with adrenaline junkie and demolitionist as well as moving target and timed payload. They’re both my babies.
i have the sacred providence pulse and while I think the black armory blast furnace will be the best of the 4 burst architype providence is still cracked out of its mind and it helps the it the only non sunset one of the 4 burst architype

Avalanche does feel very nice. And the Stochastic Variable SHREDS, I have MultiKill Clip & HiCal Rounds (and sadly Zen Moment), but it's my fav SMG next to Extraordinary Rendition.
I also had a very old Firing Line Seraph Saw that I accidentally dismantled long ago. Was my favorite HMG 😭 I very much love the feeling of Saw over Swarm, anytime

my favourite pardon our dust roll is perpetual motion and danger zone. perpetual danger makes me play "the floor is lava" all the time.

Is it worth grinding for? Never got it from the dungeon and been thinking about running the dungeon solo just to have some fun. Might be worth grabbing it while i’m doing prophecy runs.
@@grxy5924 well there's the demo/ junkie roll great for both pve and pvp and then there's slideshot / timed payload. there's other combos too. might just like it, of course practice with it to get better with it like any other gun.
My stochastic is fluted/polygon, appended/ricochet/extended, feeding frenzy/mkc w stability mw. I don’t think I’ve ever used it. My annual skate is triple tap/ timed, tunnel vision/timed and slide shot/timed. Never used it.

Alright, arctic haze has been one of my top personal weapons, judgement I don't use (but it is a very sleek and suave handcannon), but don't dis my thermal erosion, please. How you foamed for Avallanche is how I feel with my weak gun. I just love it for the body design, really...
But jokes aside, I'm happy to have learn3d that I've been using slept on weapons more than meta weapons. Makes me feel good knowing half my arsenal is filled with good non-meta weapons.

Osmosis is better than adrenaline junkie for judgement if you play around with elemental well mods, especially solar. The only trade off is some mod slots

I have spent well over 12 hrs farming arctic haze and I have yet to see a vorpal. I’m at a point where if I have a vorpal drop idgf about the other perks I’ll keep it. Got a super nice outlaw thresh though that in low lvl stuff has my super back so quick. But yea that vorpal is not dropping for me
I absolutely love my Arctic haze with dragonfly, it clears rooms in pve amazingly plus with anti barrier mids it's my go to auto rifle, my old reliable
What’s a good way to grind for it? I honestly hate europa and anything that has to do with that desolate planet.
Is there an easy way to grind for these? I’m assuming it’s either lost sectors or just keep running the strike from europa?

#11 escape velocity, hard to get but over flow vorpal is well worth it

Adept Igneous is better than Annual Skate in PVE you just have to roll a 5 for 5 Poly/Ricochet/Rapid Hit/One For All/ Stability MW for it to be viable on controller. K&M Players need Fluted Barrel and Handling MW. The thing hits like a truck.
I love Avalanche. I shamefully use this in Gambit a lot for Invasions. Been getting a full wipe with this bad baby having Killing wind + vorpal. Popping Super-poppers so easy on bottom tree voidwalker.
Now blue what’s the rating on the shatterdrive skate I give it a 7/10
Archons Thunder is sick, mine has mulligan/rampage. Wish it had something better than mulligan, but rampage is doing most of the work. not a fan of Avalanche, 900 RPM too fast.

I use Arctic Haze every day, ever since it came out. I like how it feels and I personally think one of the better sites. All 3 characters have at least 1.
Why people didn't use the arctic haze? Maybe because when this weapon came out everyone were still using a summoner.

the main reason I hate having primary ammo weapons that in the energy slot (ex: the auto rifle) is their use is so widely dependent upon the burn / matchgame.
If you have a beast god-rolled solar anti-barrier AR that you love but the match game shields are arc and void then its utterly uselss and so frustrating.
Like for me I would love to bring my BRX to every endgame gun fight but I can't b/c its solar locked
Agreed. That’s one of my biggest issues lol a lot of my God roll stuff or just good rolls in general, are either void or arc. Seems like i’m in a deficit of good solar based weapons? Idk kinda weird lol but it def makes things interesting having to use weapons you don’t typically use, just to get that solar damage

I do think you are SEVERELY underestimating the power of Ancient Gospel in PvE. I have a Rapid Hit + Dragonfly roll and it makes HUGE KABOOMS. Like very large. Ancient also is unique in look and sound. Ancient deserves a spot imo on this list because of how underrated it truly is. It's only bad Perk in PvP is Dragonfly and it's only bad Perk in PvE is Eye of the Storm. We'll maybe that and Rangefinder in PvE
