This band should be massive. This is the best Indie track of the last ten years. Seriously tell your friends. Everything this band produces is imbued with quality.
I bought all albums I could catch .... same aura as Simple Minds or the old Marillion stuff with Fish ...unknown alphabet of sense ..... criminally underrated .....
On and off I've been listening to this song for 2 years. The reason? This is an unbelievably beautiful song. A fairly unknown band from across the globe, and this song has been submitted into my life playlist. God I love the Internet.
But I can try! Got a bad case of the blues this last month or so, and every time I listen to this song, it helps. When it stops, the world comes back. But just for those few minutes, I get lost in the enjoyment of this song. And that's the simple kind of thing which will get me through. Like I said, words cannot express how much I appreciate this song.
Heard this today on nme radio whilst driving back from work, pulled over to shazam it, amazed its a few years old, don't know how it slipped through the net, Aussies too which surprised me, as they sound very uk, talking of our Australian cousins, went to see rolling blackouts coastal fever last year, they were superb.
first heard this on JJJ driving home from work in 2012. Been playing it ever since. Their second to last gig at Sydney Uni was an emotional eve. That last song In this modern land was gold!!!!!
Just back from a snowboarding trip in the US and this is the tune I listened to first when starting each day, monumentally brilliant to listen to whilst blasting down runs
And just like that, the relationship is over. Such an impressive mark in time. Your sounds are timeless and will be enjoyed well beyond the here and now. Thanks.
This is just fabulous. A bit of Simple Minds + The National + and Ultravox + you guys. Best Aussie driving synth beats song of the year. An extended version would be very welcome.
Can somebody PLEASE link me to something as good as this.. Every time I listen to this track there's a big hole left because nothing much can match its vibes! HELP, I"M A VICTIM OF PERFECTION!
I like that! Nice and distinct voice, and the drum sound is crisp. If I was to remix this, I would drop half the chorus effect, and if not remove, then mix the synths and in particular the pads way down (that horrible horn sound used for the fills would get the knife for certain ;) ). Hope you succeed! Band name rocks, and I hope so will you, if you catch my drift...
Why did they never take off here in aus? Just so so perfect ❤️
revisiting after 10 years. yep still gives me goosebumps. its a masterpiece.

If you ever get the chance see them live....mindblowing !
I strongly agree.

This band is Channeling the 80s, in a good way
Yep, non-ironically, not overdone, a respectful tribute, yet very fresh.
Just back from a snowboarding trip in the US and this is the tune I listened to first when starting each day, monumentally brilliant to listen to whilst blasting down runs

Sounds like a retro 80's Stranglers. Nothing new here and the clip is worse than the 80's. but he has that voice ! I like it for the memory.

Add the Church to that!
I like that! Nice and distinct voice, and the drum sound is crisp. Reminds me of joy division
