This amp is perfect for the MXR Fullbore. It also works perfectly well with the Orange Pedal Baby, which is a 100 w power amp, with a sound even better than if you use the return of the effects loop of a the CR120 CrushPro.
I have an orange Pedal Baby, and I used to own this pedal, and like a lot of other people I was t happy with the tone I was getting g back when I had no idea what i was doing, now that I understand how to dial a piece of gear in properly and know to send this into a darker, cleaner preamp or just straight into an FX return, I just picked this little guy up again now that I know it can sound good with my setup. I’m going for an ultra-light, high-powered clean/dirty 90s/00s pop punk rig
I use mine straight into the front of the amp, got a Marshall Origin 50 head and i can get some pretty filthy sounds of it, it can cut through anything
this is not a start at noon pedal.....try everything from about 8.. No really...adjust slowly..some knobs cover a huge range in a small adjustment and dont center/parity at 12
This thing's an absolute monster. I literally play the Fullbore through studio monitors only and it sounds amazing imo.

This pedal is awesome! I don't understand why it gets so much hate.
Especially considering it's £90 and has a built in noise gate. Decent practise pedal for sure.
