  • Minnesota's Lake Pepin is home to Pepie, a large, serpentine creature. An investigation is underway with a $50,000 reward offered for any conclusive evidence of Pepie's existence.
'Boogeymen' takes an in-depth look at the history of local monsters and travels to the small, picturesque towns where they appeared to listen to both believers and skeptics as they investigate the most recent sightings.

If you take into account how many lakes worldwide for centuries have simular legends there has to be some truth to it there simply has to be strange unknown creature's out there

No it doesn’t. The only truth is it comes from greedy people trying to copy the success of Loch Ness

Dragons occupy the waters of this world. We can’t see them only if they sow themselves. They are spiritual beings.

I live in wabasha MN on the Mississippi River just minutes from Lake Pepin. my in-laws live in lake city, I am on lake pepin at least 3 times a week. I am always fishing or looking for agates and arrowheads. I have never seen peppy, or known anyone that has seen it. there are sometimes waterfowl on the surface of lake pepin grouped together that looks like a serpent. Also Trees and logs floating in the water can fool you. There are paddlefish and sturgeon half the size of your boat. Also amazing enough, there have been bull sharks caught in nets, but not big. The Native Americans I’m sure had tales, but they did not fear Lake Pepin, actually it was the opposite, Lake Pepin was of great importance to the native tribes. There are some exaggerations in this video.

Nothing wrong with promoting tourism. I was born & raised in Minnesota & want to see our small, independent businesses thrive ❤

If you think that that's all there is out there, why don't you prove me wrong and use an ouji board and then you can come and talk to me about getting rid of the demonic spirit that attaches to you.

This stupid program is always more about advertising different business than the "monster" itself, such as a local cafe or shop, hotels, boat rides etc etc

So this Corey guy that went scuba diving and encountered Pepie at the bottom of the lake shit himself when it happened. He said that he shot to the surface in a panic. How deep was he? Bottom of the lake and shoots to the surface...So how did he not have the bends?

Bull sharks can live in fresh water. It's rare, but they can and sometimes do make their way up freshwater tributaries.
