That man quick at the perfect time and I consider him as one of the smartest side characters in anime series
'Spirit Gun' comes from Yu Yu Hakusho. The trademark technique of the protagonist, Yusuke Uremeshi. A 112 episode anime from the creator of HunterXHunter. Basically, it's Dragon Ball Z but with ghosts, demons, and physics.
Sukuna makes it very clear that he does not have Yuji's best interests at heart. And now, he essentially has a pact with Yuji that he doesn't even remember that says Sukuna can come out essentially whenever he wants for a single minute. And Yuji has no control of when that pact can be used. It's just a wild card in Sukuna's back packet. He challenged Itadori to a fight because he knew there was no way he was getting beaten by him.
In other news, volcano head is roasting people alive and is now about to confront Gojo. We are in for a wild ride.
You missed that he mentioned the Spirit Gun! It's from Yu Yu Hakusho, one of the best anime of all time (minus the very last arc which was incredibly rushed) and one that you two should definitely react to in the future.

SUKUNA before reincarnated in Yuji was divided into 20 cursed objects (his mummified fingers). The thing is that if any human except Yuji had eaten the finger, they would had died instantly. Yuji is being the special case here (no spoiler here)....

Megumis Ten Shadows technique is very specific. His summons are stored in his shadow, they dont come from nowhere. Its also why he does shadow puppets. This is him realizing the shadow isnt a one way, he can also reach into it.
His summons also arent formed from nothing, they are cursed spirits hes taken over after fighting them (except for the Demon Dogs, they came preinstalled). Theyre a lot like Pokémon, he battled them and "caught" them, now he can freely use them until theyre destroyed, where theyre gone forever.

That is a wild sentence 😅 or a typo.
Think of it this way. The curse they fought in the last couple episodes was a special grade (the highest threat level a curse can be) with only a single Sukuna finger. Current Sukuna inside Yuji has I believe 3 or 4 fingers right now (forgot exactly how many). So Jogo is actually stronger than this current Sukuna. However, as you may have guessed, full Sukuna absolutely eclipses him. 8 or 9 is less than half of Sukuna's full strength after all.

Well, it's not that Jogo is as powerful as 8-9 of Sukuna's fingers. It's that Sukuna put all his power into his fingers to reincarnate later.

The 8-9 Sukuna fingers used to measure Jogo's strenght is probably just the amount of cursed energy, not 1:1 to combat strenght. Cursed energy is just like electricity, what matters is what you do with it. Curses (or sorcerers) can use the same amount of cursed energy in different ways. Knowledge of the system is big too.

The fact that Geto says he's worth 8-9 of Sakuna's fingers is very interesting, because it makes me wonder, how many is Gojo worth because there are 20 fingers? Because he said in an earlier episode that Gojo is the best Jujitsu warrior out there.

Quick little note, when they say Jogo is equal to 8-9 fingers, sukuna regaining all 20 fingers would be full power so it’s not like oh his whole body. They are basically saying jogo is almost half as strong as sukuna at full strength. (No comment on if that’s true or not)

Sukuna split his soul into his fingers, so a full sukuna is 20 fingers strong.... So jogo being 8 fingers strong means he's about 40% of full strength sukuna. Though the strength scale of the fingers isn't linear..... One episode a week though 😵😵😵

This conversation between Yuji and Sukuna left like siblings bickering to me
if we consider one sukuna finger has a power of 2 units. Now jogo has a power of 9 sukuna fingers (i.e. 2^9 = 512) and current sukuna has 3 fingers in him (i.e. 2^3= 8). This is the approximate power difference between jugo and sukuna currently and now we can say that with each finger, sukuna's power increases exponentially. So jogo's power is only 0.048% of sukuna's original power (i.e. (2^9)/(2^20) x 100 = 0.0488 %).
You should hurry up with season1 and do about 2-3 episodes each week cause season 2 is too good and the main story starts from there. Season 1 is just like a groundwork for the whole show.
So hyped for episode 7, it's just a question of whether Kenny or Montana simped harder for Gojo

@luna-rz2cu imo, I think its just fine. Both VAs did a great job (season 2 especially). They just give off two completely different vibes. The sub has that more playful, toying with his food kinda vibe, while the dub leans more into that sinister and menacing feeling. Both are valid for Sukuna, but it just depends on which side you'd prefer to be emphasized.
I do think it'd be fun to see what they think though.
