- This is a glimpse of what occurred on Day 2 of when Tahiti's July 13th Code Red ll swell hit Waikiki on July 17, 2022. Although it's not nearly as big as the footage we saw at Teahupoo on July 13, it's still big enough to go down as one of the biggest south swells to hit Hawaii in Decades. As you'll see in this video, some breaks are more exposed to the swell direction than others.

Amazing editing!! One of the most unique surf drones edits I’ve seen recently. Nice original music and slow-mo sets of nearly every rider out there, not just one person or two. Big Props as this is very time consuming but all worth it in the end 😎😊😌

Wow! Beautiful footage! Unbelievable waves on Waikiki. I lived on Oahu for 9 years when I was in the navy stationed at MCBH Kaneohe. I took diving lessons right off Waikiki where this was filmed. Did some kyaking out there too. It's usually so flat out there. Looks like the surfers had a blast. Hopefully everyone made it through healthy! Love Hawaii...Aloha!

My friends leash snapped this day we were way out castles biggest wave I’ve seen on out their mahalos to the ski patrol that helped my friend out. Went out again at bomburas as mento couldn’t even paddle out from the opening at magic island had to jump of the rocks and try not sing the board. When I went in some other kid snapped his leash and got rescued by the ski. What a day to remember need more swells like that in my life.
Seeing this video makes me feel grateful that my home break isn’t as crowded as other places.

Crazy thats the same day a few hours later ! Tourists get lulled into not realizing that Hawaii has all the power of all the ocean coming from far away, and conditions can change pretty quickly. Was just at China Walls and Spitting Caves to look, but again don't go if you have no water awareness at all . Its Hawaii , the best place on the planet 😍. Buddhist temple at the Valley of the Temples cemetery is worth a trip also
Supercharged Waikiki especially that clean up set at 1.09pm. Booming surf. A rarity at this spot I guess?

Sorry we can't give that away until after Winter, all I can say is that the Air2s, phantom 4, and mini 3 are amazing drones if you know how to set the right exposure and color grade

Biggest in decades but you can't really judge by this video because it was filmed within a short period of time and the swell had its pulses and it's slow periods and the tide affected how it looked as well

@@MyClothesDontFit We do it for $5000 2 hours of your choice of gopro, land, or arial footage and a 5 minute video edit or just $3000 to film 2 hours of footage. I know it's not cheap but it's still 3x cheaper than what a wedding videographer charges in Hawaii. If that's too much, we recommend OG from sky control productions based out of Moku surf shop in Waikiki.
