Jack Kills it in the FAT TIRE Super Cub!

Jack McKenna became my latest Tailwheel success story. He is currently working as a CFI, Certificated Flight Instructor at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, but had never recieved his tailwheel endorsement. Since he did have a few flights in a Citabria though, he quickly picked up the skills needed to successfully operate the Piper PA-18-150 Fat Tire Supercub! We had a blast and even got to fly formation with the Freedom Fox formerly owned by ‪@TrentonPalmer‬ . We also had lunch with a few of my fellow Fat Tire Buddies in their ‪@americanlegendaircraftcomp6748‬ MOACs, a Cessna 180 and a ‪@cubcrafters‬ XCub. All in all a great 2 days of training and FUN!

How does your Super Cub perform with the wing tips installed

It performs very well, but honestly, I'd rather not have the droops..... for aesthetic reasons only. I think it looks better with original or square tips without the droop. 😊
