Growing up I was a Justin fan. Now that I’m revisiting this as an adult I have so much appreciation for JC’s vocals and how he really carried so many of their songs. I hope he releases some more solo work. Give that man his flowers

Lance was my crush growing up. Now I'm sad that I didn't appreciate JC's voice before.
I remember back in 1999-2000 when schools in real life were trying to cut the fine arts programs and this movie came out at the perfect time. This is still one of my favorites. I dedicate it to all 3 of my band directors from elementary, junior high, and high school. Their belief in me and all the other students was definitely the music in my heart that kept me going and is something i'll never forget :)

This song will always be one of my favorites. At my wedding, this is the song that I danced to with my Dad. As the younger daughter, I found this song to be perfect since my sister used "Butterfly Kisses" as her song with my Dad. The lyrics were perfect since my Dad was always my biggest supporter and always taught me to think in ways I probably wouldn't have. Just turned 30 six days ago (same bday as JC oddly enough; he turned 40) and I can't help but to get a bit emotional thinking about my tween/teen years being obsessed with *NSYNC and NEVER getting to see them in concert. I've noticed that most of the comments here were about how much better JC's voice is compared to Justin and some were wondering why he didn't have a successful solo career when in fact he has a better voice than Justin. So for those people who were wondering why JC never had a solo career like Justin when in fact his voice is way better, here's the reason why:
There's no question that JC and Justin were the main vocalists of NSYNC. In all of their songs, the two of them were the vocal stars while the other 3 members just sings during the chorus which made them look like back-ups for JC and Justin. While JC and Justin were the main vocalists, it's undeniable that JC has a better voice and has more range than Justin. JC has a powerful voice and can hit high notes with ease while Justin has a feminine-like kind of voice which can be an advantage for a specific music genre. If you compare NSYNC to the Backstreet Boys, it's like JC is like B-ROK who is the main vocalist and Justin is like Nick which voice is really kind of similar to Justin. The reason why Justin became so successful as a solo artist is because of the fact that he's a complete package and because of his charisma. JC may have a better voice than Justin but he didn't have the "SWAG" that Justin has.
Justin is a natural performer and the most important factor why Justin became a very successful solo artist is because of the fact that he is a TRIPLE THREAT. He can sing, dance and act and there's only a few handful artists that can do the same. I'm not saying that JC can't be a triple threat if he decided to pursue a solo career because we all know that he can dance as good as Justin, I'm just not convince that he can be an actor like Justin because JC doesn't really have the SWAG that Justin has. He's a bit more reserve and kinda introvert.

Having been a teacher for more than 22 years now, I know that the slightest or even the most little thing you say to a student can change his or her life forever. A student came back to me about 7 years after she graduated and told me she became a literacy teacher because of something I once wrote on one of her assignments. Music of my heart doesn't just mean music, it means finding something inside of you that is your passion. Many times teachers bring that music out.
At the last graduation at the then end of my last year teaching, a young man came to me and said his name. He was in my first class and he wanted to tell me that I had been hard on him and he remembered my words. He was a cut up in 6th grade when I first met him. He told me now he was a State trooper. We all can help someone find the music in their heart if we take the time to look for it. I miss teaching a class but now am an educational consultant and I like to think I help kids all over my state. Don't be afraid to reach out and make a difference!!!!

Yeah they all have great voices! I think the only song u get to hear everyone is I Thought She Knew cuz it’s acapella. Everyone had a solo except Lance, I wish he got to solo too tho!
It's too bad most music hear today is Not great and meaningful as it once use to be .
