Tiberian Sun definitely has the best dark atmosphere in the series. They nailed the sci-fi B-movie flair very good in the cutscenes and don't get me started on that banging 90s music. It was that good to play it in late 1999.
@@FelineSublime A Tiberian Sun movie featuring the actors from the game would have been absolutely amazing. Maybe they could have played around with the idea of having a regular dude as the main character and he becomes a light infantry member for GDI - and as the story progresses, he'd help securing the alien crash site with a bunch of Titans stomping around in the background. Hah, that stuff had so much potential.
@@SteinerArts Or even focus on a crack team of GDI marines/commandos based on the Kodiak, with McNiel's command team as one set of mains, and the ground team as the other set of mains with cameos from James Earl Jones and Joe Kucan.
@@FelineSublime So true. I believe Tiberian Sun is also the only command and conquer game with a full fledged story, as in not from the POV of a 'nameless commander.'
I have just noticed that the chair used in this scene was the same chair used in the first GDI cutscene (GDI worker who sits behind Solomon) - a bit of weird CnC trivia ;p
I would very much like to do a video for the Montauk like I did for the Cargo Train. - Are you on Discord or Reddit? we can discuss further details there

At the time, the game felt like a playable TV movie, and the time between Y2K and 2003 would've been perfect to roll right into a movie of some kind.

@@FelineSublime Also a very good idea! In some parallel universe, both films would have been produced. 😉
