Everything forestella does it gorgeous! I can never get enough. Also, Bae Doohoon, the one you mentioned as beginning to stand out to you, is crazily talented. The emotions his voice projects kills me when I hear it. It would be wonderful if you could perhaps react to some of their solo work/performances? Bae Doohoon in particular has so many gems, its a shame we only have fancams (great quality fancams! appreciate the fans who film these!). Another wonderful and entertaining reaction, D! Greetings from Germany 👋 It's s much fun discovering Forestella bit by bit, isn't it? It took me a while to take extra notice of Bae Doohoon as well. I guess it's because him and Cho Mingyu often form the connective tissue that holds the highs and lows of Kang Hyungho and Ko Woorim together, and the "middle" tends to draw less attention than the "extremes". But once you've taken notice of the timbre of Doohoon's voice and the emotional quality of his singing style, you'll notice it more and more. He's such an incredible storyteller and his range is insane, too. You're of course right in saying that the Forestella guys keep improving - which seems impossible to imagine, but they do. However, I think it's also the case that we as listeners, who discover their different songs bit by bit, learn to listen to them more closely and in a more nuanced manner. Also, the more you dive into the Forestella rabbit hole, the more gems you discover. - I'm saying all this partly because this performance is from 2018, and I don't feel that they were truly better 6 years ago than they are now. 😅 They were just different, and they were and are always great. And I feel that almost every song that one hears from them for the first time is the "best" one for the time being, because there is always something unique about it to disvover. Its funny because Doohoon was actually the first one I noticed! haha the timbre and colour of his voice is unbelievably gorgeous. It amazes me how much Forestella continues to grow and astound me every time. Their concerts too just look absolutely magical, hilarious, a whole Broadway experience!

I have the impression that most people take particular notice of one of them at first, and that is often either Hyungho or Woorim. I totally get it, though, how Doohoon would be the one to draw your attention first - or Mingyu, for that matter. It may also depend on what songs you happen to hear first. Me, personally, I have to admit I slept on Doohoon at first. Not that I couldn't hear and see that he was an absolutely integral part of the quartet, but for some reason it took me some time to understand how amazing he truly is. They are just all so unique in their own right. And yes, their concerts look like incredible works of art!
