I'm just starting out on travel journaling and your videos has given me great inspiration, especially the lil handmade pockets everywhere and how to keep large things such as maps. I'm definitely going to ne journaling more than scrapbooking as well. I love writting my thoughts on things and saving memories as words.

Wow!! This is so fabulous! Thanks for sharing. When do you journal? Do you journal in the mornings or evenings? My last trip I did good at first then fell off. So bummed my last few days have no journaling at all.
Thanks! I usually journal in the evenings after all the day's events and I'm back in my hostel/airbnb for the night. I try to get all the journaling done for what happened that day down, so I keep on track. If I'm traveling with someone else, I'm mindful about catching up on my journaling during lulls, like when I'm waiting for my travel partner to get ready before we go out, or when we're sitting for a moment after breakfast, etc. I also I take advantage of traveling time, like if I'm on a long train ride, plane, etc. my journal is always out then to catch up on any journaling. My friend I usually travel with also likes journaling, so sometimes if we're at certain sights and we take a breather and sit somewhere, out come the journals too! But yeah, it's hard at first to keep a journal on the go. My first ever attempt was tragic lol. I've just created this habit now, so it's a bit easier to keep up with one while traveling.
