Another benefit of a large sudden water release would be is if there are smaller dams down stream it would wipe them out that's a lot of water pressure going down stream ,Excellent Break

I'm a daydreamer. When I watch these videos I am often wondering what I would do as the head beaver (If there is such a thing). I noticed that this was a very weak dam because most of the sticks ran through the dam rather than along it's length. I would put the biggest logs I could along the length of the dam (making more trouble for you :) ). I do find these videos satisfying. Keep up the good work. God bless you.
The dams made with a lot of mud and grass are so fun to watch because they collapse so easily, but it also makes them quite dangerous. Glad to see you moving with caution and keeping an eye on it at all times. 👍 Stay safe, Mantas! 🌊💜🌞

Congratulations on your constantly improving technique: 1) videography is getting better and better with multiple cameras; 2) your dam-busting technique. Weaken both sides of the dam and then undercut the toe of the dam to make a hinge for the collapse. Really cool to see and very satisfying. I know you love it.

Holy cow! Hate to think about the volume of water that was trapped behind the dam. Before you said it, I was estimating a drop of around 1.5m/5ft. That would have been causing serious problems for any humans upstream of the dam.

Extremely nice collapse. The two views make a nice contrast . That dam looked like it was ready to collapse when you first started on it. Was there not much mud on it only grass and a few sticks?
By the way, we do not need you to drown yourself to show us how deep the hole is. It is definitely a drowning trap with your waders , depth, and m³ of water flowing over the dam. Sorry the safety officer in me freaks out at stuff like that.

This one looks like the beaver had some help building. The grass up around the camera was all cut but the only thing on that dam was grass. I am pretty sure beaver don't know how to mow or cut geass.

Outstanding dam collapse. The sound of the rushing water is so relaxing and calming it helps me fall asleep at night. I am currently a disabled construction worker. The discomfort from my injuries make it difficult to fall asleep. Your videos are very calming and relaxing I appreciate what you do very much thank you
Find small umbrellas to put above your cameras to keep the sun off of them. They also allow air to blow past them to dissipate heat.

Attach a sun shade to your camera pole. Shade camera. Very loose weave like cheese cloth so the wind does not sail the camera away.
15:41 Super happy to see you being safer than usual, sticking to the shallower upstream side so you don’t get swept away by the current. Maintaining contact with stable things on the way, moving larger debris from behind it instead of letting it build up against your legs. Excellent collapse, excellent finish. This one gets a thumb from me for sure :)

This was pretty good. For me I love the outdoors but had to quit cause I shattered my left ankle while out deer hunting. I have 3 plates in it and my ankle is now fused. very difficult for me to walk out in the woods now. So i get to watch you do it in the outdoors. thanks for the videos.
