Bound 2 is great as a song, but it doesn't even compare to how well mortal man closes the album (yet again the only fair argument I see is if you are measure the songs listenability and not it as a single song and piece of art, in which case bound 2 is hard to top, though it's not my personal favourite Either, to me it goes to hacker on the money store, but I understand that's not for everyone)
Here are my picks for the best album of each year: 2010 - Yeah I mean it's gotta be MBDTF 2011 - I'd probably go with XXX, but Live.Love.Asap or Section.80 are also contenders. 2012 - I mean what's competing with gkmc lol 2013 - Man Yeezus is pretty damn great. I think Doris, Acid Rap, annd honestly even Nothing Was the Same should be in the convo too. But overall, gotta go with Yeezus. 2014 - Gotta give it to Faces over Pinata. Cilvia Demo is amazing too. 2015 - How do you even argue it isn't TPAB. 2016 - Honestly? I think "we got it from here..." takes it for me over Atrocity Exhibition and Life of Pablo. Ugh. really good picks but I feel like the whole soundcloud era since 2016/17 is completely missing, especially the influence of people like X, Uzi etc. shit was huge and I think the ""emo"" sound on albums like 17 or Goodbye & Good Riddance kinda dominated the scene back then
Probably don't listen to em, they ain't exactly popular and have the most polarising sound, I love em but I can understand that some people can't, in the same way alot of hip hop listeners simply refuse to acknowledge metal and think its shit. I don't like to claim people need to "broaden their horizons" with music cause its sometimes just not for everyone, but some people are very dismissive of knew or unfamiliar things. I was when I first heard deathgrips, me and my friends would laugh about guilottine but a couple years later my friend told me to actually go back and listen to them, and now their up their as one of my favourites. I feel like we are quick to dismiss things in that way and its just human nature, but it's always better to try something than just outright dismiss it.
