This video really shows a lot of the movements and techniques of Muay Thai.i think its awesome how your bring us so many different styles of martial arts. Great stuff as always . Thanks !!!
Sony Alpha 6000. The settings weren't optimal for recording in this light though, would probably have looked as good or a bit better recorded on a phone. But I think with this type of video it doesn't hurt the experience that much... just the thumbnail looks less appealing, but wanted to use a screenshot from the video, as I've done so with all the prior videos in this series.
Thanks Jordan. It does take a while to edit some types of videos, and at times planning to get them recorded. This type of video isn't the hardest type I make to edit but still harder than a regular sparring one, as you really have to watch and rewatch to figure out what techniques to label defense and offense... and to have the text appear long enough on screen to be visible. It's not the most fun type of video to edit, but I enjoy the concept and sharing it. With a full time job it can be difficult finding time to create content in one's spare time, I've managed to deliver weekly content for years, but I know that eventually I'll probably slow down the pace but still share... right now I have 9 edited videos, so when you wrote that comment I already had that video among the ones to pick from and I went with this because of your comment :)
Hope you found this helpful, there's also one where the attacker (me) uses a nunchaku and you can either practise without weapons and use your footwork to avoid the strikes and return "fire" (blocking a nunchaku strike won't work unless you've got arms of steel or a weapon in hand).... it's on the Virtual Sparring playlist :)
Not necessarily, I don't own one. But in one of my previous videos on the playlist (the one called YOU vs KICKBOXER I believe), there were a couple of comments from people who'd seen it with vr headses (a cheap kind which was popular at the time, don't remember exactly, but not the huge VR setup some gamers use today)... and they had a pretty cool experience watching it with that. But no it's not specifically designed for that :)
Thanks Alex. I believe I once saw a promo for something like this from him, thought it was part of his website paid Fight Gym service or what it was called, thanks for the heads up. :) Shane Fazen (as well as Casey Neistat, Nick Drossos and a number of other UA-camrs) inspired me to share my passion and start Zen-Dragon.
First round is in slow motion, that is the case with all the virtual sparring videos on this channel. Skip to next round if you wanna practise faster, the idea is for it to be for any level... also you can practice more cerebrally picking your responses in slow motion and then doing them as a reflex in the next round :)
:D Yeah, Muay Thai kicks hurt a lot and those elbows are likely to produce cuts. :) Good news... I just recorded the final piece of voiceover for Draw My Life 2. I still need to tweak the voiceover recording, time it to the animation and add appropriate background music... but most of the work is done now, can't wait to share it and although it's one of the longer videos, I hope people will watch it all the way thru as it gets better and better :)
@@Rogvi Ja det stykke musik er et fund, gad godt at have flere i samme stil som er copyright frie... har et til som er lidt mindre video game, lidt mere 80er action film, men begge er mega nice :D
@@youngwarrior9362 Thanks :) I think the two Kung Fu ones are very difficult to spar along to, this one and the one where I do kickboxing are the best to actually train to I think, and especially this one is nice cuz you have to deal with low kicks, high kicks, elbows and knees. I'm gonna do one with a Karate stylist... and maybe capoeira at some point when I get to work with the right person, but they're gonna be with less feints and hidden movements compared to the 2 Kung Fu ones. :) Glad you liked the video.

Thanks Gary :) It's nice to know it's well appreciated, that's the motivation which fuels me to keep creating and sharing :)
I think a lot of people like this and it's a fun concept. well done :)

Very helpful thank you so much. When most UA-camd say soon it usually means in a month. Thanks for being so dedicated

Are you supposed to watch this with a vr headset?

Happy to help, there’s 3 more virtual sparring videos on the playlist st the end, 2 Kung Fu and another Kickboxing :)
Really fun art to spar in.
Yeah, I actually got up and tried sparring to this one. Good for checking low kicks. :p
Shane fazen did a similar video you should check it. He came up with a few good ideas to implement to this kind of work.

This is pretty humbling for me... hope I never manage to piss a Muay Thai guy of :p

Følte lige jeg var med i et spil jeg ikke kunne vinde 🤣
:D Svært at hypnotisere modstanderen når han er bag en skærm... Nu har du prøvet at få Muay Thai bank, helt uden skræmmer! :)
Zen-Dragon hahaha ja 🤣
Elsker det der 90’er slås spils musik 😅

Opps heavy hehe I lost
Haha, it happens. Safer to lose to an opponent on screen than one in the ring! :p
Why u win? Haha
:D
FIRST!
Nice! Hope you enjoy the vid, there's a whole playlist of Virtual Sparring videos linked at the end.
Oh yeah I've seen them and liked them. This is the best though. More realistic
