What an amazing job you did , I love how your not afraid to try new things, you learn as you go along and in turn we do too without the risk . You’re so inventive, my pioneer SBL Queen 👸🏽. Thank you so much Casie , I was entertained for 50 whole mins . She looked totally transformed and super cute ☺️.
Lol thank you! I usually just try to remind myself that I will find a way to make it work and make it better otherwise I'd probably be too nervous to dive in :)
I like to watch these, not because it is something I would/might ever do, but because I like to know that IF I wanted to or needed to, it's possible. Thanks for sharing this with us. ;-)
Casie, Thank you so much for this! You are amazing brave soul! I was able to do most of this ( regarding the scalp swap only) while viewing the video. Today, I will make the circle cut into the plastic dome. My gorgeous girl will now be able to sport two cool hairstyles. Cannot say enough how much I appreciate your tutorial and how much it helped me to get my project started!
Casie, I complete the dome modification and now I am cutting the hair. Watching you haircut tutorial. I have begun the haircut. My first time to do a complete haircut. Exciting stuff! Thanks again!
You did a great job as always. The repair was neat and meticulously done, and the new makeup was tasteful and made a huge difference! Thank you for the tutorial on adapting the rbl scalp to the sbl. It was very informative and comprehensive. I love your videos and consider you the expert on anything Blythe. Thank you for your generosity with your skill and talent. ♥️
Wow! So much better! You have such patience 🙈 I would have loved to see you glue the scalp - how you rubber band her. My worst nightmare! It did it once, not by choice, I’m sure there is a better way. You did such a great job lining up the scalp. Nice clean edges! 🙌🏻
I have an SBL doll with messed hair that I want to remove because I only use wigs on her and the hair from the old scalp gets in the way. Is it possible to remove the scalp on my SBL and attach a bald scalp part? Do you think that would work?
Hi. I bought an SBL Velvet Minuet, she needs a body change. Do you think I can change the body without opening completely the head? I don't want to change and take out the scalp.
Usually with an SBL you need to be able to open the head to get the body off. Unfortunately you will probably still need to soak it and try to loosen the glue to get it open at all.
Hey Casie, I learned a lot from this video! She looks so much better after. May I ask what is the difference between using acetone and sand paper, to remove some of the face-up?
It's also called superior Blythe mold ... The story behind the sbl sculpt is that it was the one that was supposed to be the closest resemblence to the Kenner sculpt.

Так интересно смотреть распоковку из России! Ваш вариант супер.

Be very careful with using acetone on Blythe plastic...it can melt it, or damage it later on. Sandpaper is a safer option for Blythe. ;)
@@BeBeDolls Oh I see! Got it, thanks :)
What’s an SBL doll?
SBL is just the mold style. Blythe dolls have several different molds over the years. SBL is one of the older ones from around 2017. ;)
It's also called superior Blythe mold ... The story behind the sbl sculpt is that it was the one that was supposed to be the closest resemblence to the Kenner sculpt.
