Good tips. I just had this problem with a keg. My problem was hop creep and I kegged it without knowing how bad it was. What I ended up doing was bringing the already carbed and chilled keg to room temp and added a spunding valve. Then it conditioned like that for a week and it absolutely worked. Not the greatest beer but no more diacetyl.
Dump it, effing dump it that’s what you do. No one should be put through that garbage. Or lager it long enough to clean it up. I’m drinking a 4 pk from a “professional brewery” right now that is effing gross and i paid full price. I don’t think I’ve ever drank a 4 pk this fast before 🤢🤮

Would you recommend using some ALDC at the start of fermentation and possibly at dry hopping to prevent diacetyl just as a precautionary measure?
You absolutely can. I have yet to play with it tho.
