Thanks :D... It's been an idea but i haven't gotten started on it. The only two ideas that come to mind is if they went with Scorpion instead which would make me salty lol... or if they did a one time deal of releasing a two for one bundle in which Scorpion and Sub-Zero are echos so they'd be more akin to the classic games where their strikes are more general martial arts with their specials being what makes the echos different... Although the latter sounds dope and Smash could toot their own horn for this one time offer, making them echos takes away from the strives MK has done to make the ninjas unique unlike Ryu and Ken who still are pretty dang similar.
With that said, despite my critiques, the second idea seems like fun in terms of making it into a vid.. I have felt a creative block lately so I could go there
@@cmpork7145 yeah i'd also prefer sub-zero over scorpion. but having both would be dope. yeah that idea of them being echoes of each other also came to me and while i'm generally no fan of echoes that's a case it could work out if at least the specials were different. oh i know all about creative blocks. so if that can free your mind it would definitely be an interesting video idea.
Hey! This is an amazing video and great representation for MK/Sub-Zero! After seeing Kazuya joining smash after E3, i feel MK has a less of a chance now. I still have hope for them!
True which is a shame for i love Tekken but MK is far higher than it and Fatal Fury.. Heck MK has more ties with gba, wii, and switch ports of its games.. But thanks though :)
@@cmpork7145 oh totally, i would love to have a MK rep in smash! I love all fighting games and i’m glad they’re all getting represented. Although.. if there was a Fighter Pass 3 (highly doubt) it would be a perfect time for a MK rep to tie in the top fighting games titles! Have all the legendary fighting game series’ fighters in smash! Now that would be truly legendary!
I even thought about his MK 2/Shaolin Monks fatality with the powered up ice ball, but the starting animation being him throwing the opponent into an ice wall like MK11's ex slide
It's not a bad idea... Unless there's some rng where sometimes ya get the smash announcer, sometimes ya get the MK... Or if ya play 1v1 you get the MK sorts like how they gave Soras FS a special touch in a singles match
Mortal kombat, DOA, soul calibur and Virtua fighter was always missing from the fighting games list. But Mortal Kombat should have gotten a representative because heck Bayonetta and Snake got in. Now Japanese representation is too high but American representation is at all too low. I think Sakurai should not be involved in the next smash bros and if he is he should include Mortal Kombat.

Not for me, there was no hope for a Tekken rep, or a second fighters pass
