I would say these shoes feel like 90% of the Shimano S-PHYRE shoes in terms of stiffness and feel. The S-PHYRE shoes also have a fairly wide toe box in my opinion which is similar to the Van Rysel. We wore the same size shoes for both brands and found them to be as comfortable.
@@heksogen4788 I would say they are similar to Shimano fit, the upper material is flexible and it doesn't narrow as much as some other brands in the toe box area.
@@TheSweetCyclists I have shimano shoes and i think the sole is quite narrow but the upper material gives higher volume. Tbh that is not a good way to deal with wider feet, this can cause hot spots or problems for people who have wide feet but flat at the same time with low fore/mid volume.
Yes, it would have been nice for Decathlon to include a replaceable heel bumper. It is a feature many higher-end shoes offer. In my experience, if you are just doing short walks to and from your bike the bumpers shouldn't wear out very quickly though.
@@TheSweetCyclists Well,i do short walks with my shoes, still they wear out in couple years. These are nice shoes but,i would not buy them for the reason of no replacement.
How are the stiffness compared to the shimanos RC903? And how is the fit? Is it narrow like the RC903?

Nice shoe but,When the heel wears out, you throw them away since Decathlon does not offer a replacement heel like Sidis

Do they offer atop dials replacement at all? And if so, is it free or they charge?
Great shoes and you can get them in 7 different colours !
What country are you in that has different color options for the RoadR 900 shoes? Here in the US we only have the black option unfortunately.
Portugal! @@TheSweetCyclists
Well you're lucky then. Most of the Van Rysel apparel is all black for the US. I wish they would import some color here.@@CyclingAlgarvePortugal
Thanks,Ive got them in fuxia. Pretty loud ,but like you said, black is a bit boring...
Have a great day, all the best!@@TheSweetCyclists
