In India, a harvest festival Holi is celebrated in which we light a fire and throw popcorn over it and eat it. The fire gets really big. It is a relief from the cold ( it does not snow in the states Holi is celebrated ) as it is celebrated in January

ive had no issues with waterproof matches they are great i like them but i like to take at least 2 types of fire starters ,two of everything one is not enough i think that came from my time as a boat builder we had to have fail safes on everything we had to have back ups as people lives were at risk on the boats otherwise so now i have to have of everything i mean it makes sense nothing can slow you down hold you up you don't have to waste time improvising if one fails grab the next one & carry on .
