Wow! I like that you kept the design. It shows how much you respect and appreciate the hard work of other designers. God bless you. May more blessingscome to you and family.
Your videos make my day, Laura! what a fantastic reveal! I feel like I learn so much from every video. I scramble to write down all the plant names you mention and then study them later. Thank you for inspiring your followers to learn and have fun! :D
Bayside Betty got it going on! Thank her for all of us. Just gorgeous. Need to get me some of those Dorothea. Cryptanthus was the succulent of the day.
Oh my gosh!!!!! So much to look at!!!! What a "finishing touch" you have Laura! You respected the original design and still put your spin on it with the rock work, placement of the bromeliads in the planter closest to the house, making choices to remove sago palms and such....oh my!!!!!! That yard has to be the "jewel" in Coronado!!!! Well done Laura and team!!!!!!
My jaw just dropped. What a beautiful garden, front and back. I just love all the decorations, the rock work, and how each plant brings out the beauty in everything.
Super job ! I can tell that your familiarity with this delightful garden enabled you to judiciously carve away the excess revealing and reinforcing the original design intent. ~ Those Cecile Bruner roses are going to be spectacular in that setting. ~ Aloe brevifolia is a really super plant. Just love it. ~ I think the big pot of Aspidistra ‘milky way ‘ at (4:50) is special. ~ It’s hard to imagine a more pleasant yard to work on. I can picture Hannah arranging those bay front aloes , drawing inspiration from the sparkling panorama laid out before her eyes........sigh.
I love Coronado! It’s the cutest little town with succulents galore. Beautiful job on this home...looks much cleaner and all of the glorious plants are much easier to see and enjoy now. More Jose, please...he’s a hoot! 😊
Lovely garden! As a couple of other comments have mentioned, the crows are pulling up the grass to eat grubs. No one else has mentioned what the grubs are doing there though...they are eating the roots of the grass and can kill large portions of the lawn if not dealt with!
If I wait til Oct to cut echeverias and other plants won't the cold kill them I am in vacaville ca which I believe is zone 9. I have learned so much from you. Thanks for all the advise and ideas.
I don’t know about the rockwork. I think it looks to perfect. But wow, some of these plants I have only seen in pictures. And you got to love José. Love you team DFS
I've packed my suitcase having problems trying to get a flight over there, but I'm sure Bayside Betty would love to have me stay. The dog & cats will have to go into isolation but they have all let me know that they would be happy to stay as well. I grow cacti & succulents love to get dirty & have calluses on my hands as well. What more could you want
Years back we would drive down from Los Angeles for the Fourth of July fireworks show which happens right in the bay there.. and we also attended a Redbull Air Races event where those suped up propeller planes (air hotrods really) fly around an obstacle course at high speeds. Fun stuff. Hate the Padres, love the city.
You could have done the Ultimate Plant Haul video........ ......... . . . showing the crew driving away in the truck loaded to the brim with cuttings with a sign on the door, “Plant Hauling Service “.
Hi Laura and gang! I'm sure you have said the name before, but...what is the plant (there are many) at the end of the video just to the left of the gazebo, lime green, large but not too large, some are in the ground and it looks like you have in pots. Aloe, Agave?? Any thoughts about how they would do in Las Vegas?? Thanks!!

Hey Hanna, any tips on protecting succulents from birds, specifically doves? They're ruining all my plants and have even made holes in some of my agaves. They even get fed so I don't understand this greedy behavior...
Wow! I like that you kept the design. It shows how much you respect and appreciate the hard work of other designers. God bless you. May more blessingscome to you and family.
OMG... I can't say enough about this garden. It's spectacular. Everything about it is just amazing...
I would never leave my house if that was my backyard. Wow wow wow!!
Videos of complete front/backyard before and after projects would be nice. Those types of vids are like ASMR to some of us.
Excellent work. I love the fact that you stayed true to the original design.😊😊👏🏼👏🏼👍👍

I am absolutely out of my mind for this garden .. the rock work, the plants, the trees, rocks, sea shells, ocean view, and on and on and on!
This is beyond spectacular, the beauty is endless. There is a surprise at every twist and turn. The rock work is so gorgeous.
The crew knows how to rock it! 👊

Great work team DFS! The front yard looks amazing, now you can see and appreciate all the colour and design, that was before so overgrown and hidden.

I absolutely love this garden. I agree it’s a good idea that you limbed up the sago and the palm trees. Looks great!!
I love Grand Revivals! The trip to get to it is so worth it!
Thank you for sharing you make me smile so big my cheeks hurt!
The crows are most likely looking for grubs. Good way to keep them away!

The tiny Cecile Brunner roses dry perfectly for potporri. Both buds and full blooms hold color and shape.
If I wait til Oct to cut echeverias and other plants won't the cold kill them I am in vacaville ca which I believe is zone 9. I have learned so much from you. Thanks for all the advise and ideas.

Can you grow these plants in Buenos Aires?
I think it is a bit cold there.

I can't believe you didn't point out the Monster Deliciosa. It was a beauty 😍 💚
Beautiful! How do you force (if possible) my sticks on fire to turn red in Florida? I see red spots, just not *red sticks*
Hmmmm....try fertilizer
🇵🇱Spektakularny, piękny , zjawiskowy 🇺🇸👏🏻👍😍🌵🌴🌺
archduke charles is a tough rose that does well, it is drought tolerant and the flowers darkens from pale pink to cherry red and it is fragrant
Amazing backyard and the view is stunning. What kind of Palm trees are they on the backyard?

Agave attenuata. It might be a little tender for Vegas.

Hey Laura, just a quick question... why doesn’t Michael Buckner look after the garden he designed? Is he super expensive? Thanks x
That's my exact same question 🤔
He moved to Borrego Springs.
I have a small pacapodium.
I would like to know if that agave trunk bothered you?
A little. Sometimes you have to pick your battles. Ultimately, I’d like to plant something entirely different in that space.
Hey Hanna, any tips on protecting succulents from birds, specifically doves?
They're ruining all my plants and have even made holes in some of my agaves. They even get fed so I don't understand this greedy behavior...
Yikes! That is a tough one for sure! Haven’t dealt with birds yet, so sorry to be of no help!
👋😄
Jajajajajajajajajaja José bailando WAP 😂
Omg! She has a New Mexico hot air balloon with a Zia symbol!
who is Michael Buckner?
A famous local designer here in San Diego.
@@LauraEubanks Oh lovely! x
Laura, there is something bothering me.
Why didn't u cut off and reset that leggy big plant at 2:04 of video.
The trunk looks eeerrrgggghhh
Lol its ok you'll be ok. 😁
From the street the agave look beautiful! Also, it is still hot in Coronado and the leaves would have burned if we reset them as cuttings ☺️
That settles it. Thank you Hannah.
Sago palms are xeric and not actually related to palm trees. . Pygmy palms are swamp dwellers in original habitat of Laos, must be kept moist.
