Yea he does. I guess also when you do the combined dragoon on albert or shana (cuz shes light) it tends to hurt them alot more. You can perfect Alberts dragoon attack better this way.
This boss fight was more annoying than hard, every time I kill a ghost knight, they come back alive. It was then I realized that I have to use Shana and her light magic in order to kill them. This game is forcing me to use a character I find annoying and worthless to help me win.
I Dragoon special'd with Rose right off the bat, Attacked the ghost comander with everyone, and he was red by the time everyone had one turn left (All lvl 4 with Shana, Dart, and Rose) And then hit them with Star Children and Explosion. No one needed and healing and didn't even hit yellow, super easy.
I feel kind of ashamed that this is one of the bosses I got stuck on for a little while...However though, I had Albert take the ghosts all out with some tornado move, Dart use Final Burst and Haschel max-dragoon attack the captain and killed them within a few moves...Boy I certainly felt stupid after that. >.
I used albert and rose. Rose helps by using demons gate and when u do the dragoon combo with dart u can just attack him using Final Burts for the commander and kill the rest using Rose's dragoon. I only used Alberts for Rose Storm
*sigh* I miss this game. My brother scratched the game cd's. P.S I love this boss music. :D.
@Polomance862 Using Shana's "Star Children" attack also works quite nicely...assuming you took the time and effort to get her there.

Shana in this fight, Shana in general, is op. A few attacks and the commander and than Shana can sweep the whole board

My game stops working too right after I kill Lenus, so frustrating.

I honestly thought this was an easy boss fight if you have enough potions and status removal. He cant really hurt you if you keep his buddies down.

I had Dart's dragoon magic red eye dragon beat them in on hit.
you should have rose and albert in the party, have them lvl 3 dragoon and special with dart. use eplosion and astral drain on him and he dies ezily

God this is the only battle I hated with a passion. You have to make sure all of them are weak and be able to kill them all at once.
