1st tip when making a start attack macro, put the startattack BEFORE the abilty you're trying to do, so you also target with that same macro. Also, you can make shift/alt/ctrl mods into your macro's to downrank a spell, or just using a different spell with said mod. This will make it so you clear up a lot of space on your bars. As a shaman, this is necessary because you will need a lot of space for all your totems
- Save Stormstrike for after you hit with your weapon. If the auto hit procs WF, you'll have a 3s icd in which it cannot proc, wasting the chance to proc it => weak aura for wf icd is helpful (if the SS cd reduction is coming, less/no longer relevant) - Melee swing timer paired a slow 2h and Frost Shock/Earthbind Totem allows weaving in and out when the swing timer finishes, lowering damage taken especially on fast and hard hitting mobs. - If you want to remove totems and replant in safer area to avoid adds, use the cheapest r1 totem of the element to safe mana (no longer relevant if totemic projection is coming). - Put up Lightning Shield/refresh imbues before you drink - Place totems in a safe location to pull mobs to them in succession to avoid having to replace them as often.
As an elemental shaman should I run a staff or a mace and shield? I just hit 25 and trying to find a source for hearing is a bit convoluted since I wanna pvp and raid
Yea agree, I look forward to wielding a 1h+shield - the proper shaman feel 😅 and nice with the added armor. Just important to note that you cannot block, dodge, parry, miss while casting spells, so I feel like a good staff can also work well

Dagger and shield will be BIS for phase 2. If you're PVPing you'll want the shield not a staff
