When you certain that something HAS to go in a certain way, you will beat your head against the wall for the longest time. Then you realize that your initial assumption was in fact wrong. I would love to try those puzzles too, but I would need several hints for sure. You are very smart and great at solving puzzles. I hope your figured that puzzle out.
Very good deduction! You're on the right track, and other comments have given you the hints you will need I think. Btw I wasn't even aware of the movement you showed at 11:57. The move at 10:58 is indeed the movement that leads to the second solution if you print the pieces too loose. Your pieces seem just right.
AAAAAAA, I found it!!! That was a tricky move and very tight. If I had not been persistent, I would have thought that this move cannot be done. But once I spotted the opportunity I was trying hard to do it. Have no idea how you were able to design such move. Actually, I tried this move before, but was sure it is not possible.
@@Puzzleguy @ 10:22 you have the correct orientation but the rotation is not clockwise. It is a complicated manoeuvre that requires both pieces and takes advantage of the half cut sections.
@@achampion Thank you. Both your hints were very useful. Puzzle is solved. The move is crazy, I was sure it is not even possible. It was very tight but I already saw the end result and tried hard.
I don't know but I think that the three pieces have to oriented in a different way. Or, perhaps that handle needs to be elevated a bit higher above the cube? Good luck. 🤔🤔👍👍
There are only a couple of ways how to put parts together is such a way that the opening in a basket will be covered. But none of them lead to a solution so far.
You had it. Make the cube outside of the basket. Put the cube into the basket. Put the basket handle on the basket .... pfffft ! Looks like the puzzle made a basket case out of you .... ;-)
Without having the puzzle in my hands, it's very difficult to help you. Maybe try another approach, in place to start with the right shape, start with a false shape.
Great to see your thought process at working out the solution. Really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you
I hope that you get the solve!!! Your a master at puzzles!! I think this is the first time that got you thinking. You can DO IT!!!
Solved about an hours ago with the help of Alun Champion who wrote two hints. That was a very tricky move I couldn't find.

I solved the Peppermint basket. The issue was in the quality of 3D printing. I found the correct solution once I got a bigger version of the puzzle
Screw puzzle is great. You being stuck on Peppermint is me stuck on most other puzzles for ages 🤣 Nice video bud.

Thank you for your comment. I'll give it another try later today, maybe with the hints I can find correct solution.

@@Puzzleguy Haha awesome that you got it!
Love the screw burr puzzle. Btw, I'm having trouble with pepper castor lol...awesome video PG. Puzzle On!!
Pepper Castor is hard because of unusual moves. Play a bit more to get used to it.
HINT: That isn't the only orientation of the middle piece that would allow you to complete the akaki cube! Let me know if you need more.
I tried to orient the middle piece different way but it doesn't help. I have even less options to move parts.

@@Puzzleguy update vid!
@@Puzzleguy Now you need to print out the Nachos Akaki basket, designed by William Hu - another tough one.
Failing sometimes is good! It makes every success more meaningful!
I'm succeeding in something that is actually hard!

Your doing amazing Puzzle Guy!!! Keep it up. 💯
Also: hoping for a giveaway soon. 😉
Have you tried to slide the diagonal piece in?
You had it. Make the cube outside of the basket. Put the cube into the basket. Put the basket handle on the basket .... pfffft ! Looks like the puzzle made a basket case out of you .... ;-)
OMG, I solved it without even realising. Thank you for your help :)

I think I've tried all shapes but no luck so far. I feel like there is no solution and this puzzle is a big fake. 🤪
I have my Akaki basket coming in the mail. I guess I have my work cut out for me.
How many baskets have you ordered?
@@Puzzleguy I have egg, chicken, hamburger, sandwich, and chocolate. I have peppermint and mushroom yet to solve.
@@chrisbr1969 let me know if you find Peppermint solution quicker than I.
@@Puzzleguy I will. Keep making your awesome videos!
@@chrisbr1969 Thank you. Videos will keep coming as long as I have new puzzles.
I'd suggest printing a bigger basket! lol
I don't like to wait. Small one was quicker to print. Or you are saying the bigger basket is easier to find solution?
@@Puzzleguy easier to find solution. lol
Someone got screwed up ....
Shit happens...
