भांग, धतूरा, आख जैसी विषैली चीज़ें भगवन शिव को क्यों अर्पण की जाती हैं और भांग का सेवन क्यों करते हैं?
शिव विष को अमृत में बदलते हैं और इस लिए अगर हम स्वयं के अंदर के विष का नाश करना है तो शिव की शरण जाओ! शिव हैं वैद्यनाथ, चिकित्सों की चिकित्सक, वैद्यों के वैद्य और इस जगत में विषैले तत्वों को स्वयं ग्रेहेन करके वह यह दर्शाते हैं की समस्त जगत के विष को अमृत में बदलना है तो शिव की शरण जाओ!
