Brilliant video mate, excellent full strip down service, very well explained, Thank you These videos help so much as i wana get into breakdowns an the hardest thing to find now now is no training centres do how to replace parts on a boiler , ive watched your worcester videos they are brilliant
I usually take the high limit stat off, then the 2 earth connectors off, from the top of the main hx. Then use a Long Flat blade Screwdriver, to push the electrode's Brass cable connectors upwards, sitting under the rubber grommets. But these are always a pain to remove 🤦🏽
Hi. Thanks for your message 🫶. You might be aware, that expansion vessels are most of the time repairable and does Not require replacing. Let me know if you need any more information on that 👍
@@BoilerMend hello, you’re welcome, thanks for that I have already purchased a new one cost £82.00 as it is now 11 and a half years old, got a chappy coming tomorrow to fit, although I would love to fit myself I’m not fully 100% confident kind regards and take care, Mark from Billericay 😀👍
That's what I call a boiler service! unfortunately some never carry this type of boiler service and just empty the water trap and charge £65 and off to the next one .....

@@BoilerMend Thankyou sir. keep up the great work, we appreciate you.
forgot the copper grease before bolting back the burner cover.
👍🏼
When you do localise tightness do you isolate the gas valve on boiler.
Yes and attach manometer on the boiler gas Valve's, working pressure ( Not Burner Pressure) test point
@@BoilerMend Thanks
