Okay... So first of all since I'm not Italian I do not know the rules for this "free kata" category.. could somebody please explain it to me? Can I do whatever I want? Is it a time limit? Other rules? Please enlighten me...
Secondly, this guy is bloody good, both his technical and physical performance is impressive... does he compete with WKF rules? With the traditional katas as well? If so, why havenn't I ever seen him in any of the major WKF events (premier league for example...)?

Could you tell me What is the name of this kata?

It's an invented kata and its name is "Leon". There used to be this rule in Italy, according to which the athletes had to prepare and perform an invented Kata in the final match of the Italian kata championships. The kata had to follow some criteria and include some elements (say one jump, two roundhouse kicks, etc.) established in the Italian Karate federation rules. In the final match, athletes were evaluated on both a traditional kata of their choice and on their own invented kata.
