I appreciate the fact that you take very large projects and cut them down into bite sized pieces. It gives the rest of us encouragement when we take on projects of our own ♡
Bite sized pieces, yep! And also so valuable is the way you always teach us the "satisfaction benefit" of going the extra mile instead of rushing slapdash through whatever task you're doing. ❤
I was so afraid you were going to drop the door. I love this series, every day I can't wait to see what you're working on. I like you give an explanation for why you do things like changing the swing of the door I wouldn't have thought about the flow.
That is a lovely door. Definitely an upgraded choice. Added light with privacy and it's beautiful. I am never bored watching Ashley and Doug working together. Their teamwork and focus on quality is both rare and fascinating.
I've been watching your videos for years. I have never not one time been bored. I love the fact that you and Ashley work together as a team. You both are a beautiful example for us all. Doug, I also think that you are multi-talented. All of your work is impeccable. Thank you so much for sharing your videos and your family with us all. God bless you.
This channel is never boring! Demo and clear out is an essential part of the process. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next with this property. Your workmanship is second to none. We all know now that anything Doug and Ashley work on is done to the highest standards. 😊
Hi! Major congratulations to Ashley! This video really highlights all you do to keep Doug moving! Handing him the nails one at a time while you’re tidying, clearing debris, rearranging the camera, etc., etc, and etc. your help is essential to a job well done! What a team you two are! God Bless you all!
No I don’t get bored watching you tackle each job. You never know what you’re going to find when you start to pull things apart. I am constantly amazed at how you just matter of factly repair the damage. Even when you are surprised by termites or wood rot you stay calm and fix it. 😊 Bye Maverick it was nice to hear your voice at the end. 😊
I don't think I would ever get bored watching you all do this. The way you both explain things is great! It also shows me things I think I couldn't do I maybe could. Great job!
I so appreciate this channel more than you'll ever know. Not just the quality of your work alone, but the tutorial end is so helpful!!! Thx I know where your heading...gonna be amazing!!!
I love your updates. You're consistent. It's not easy being a content creator, people LOVE telling you where you went wrong, what they'd have done differently, what you should be wearing, how your life should be. Stay as sweet as you are xxx
On a foggy day in Florida four fearless friends fix a forgotten mobile. Finding the factory failures in fabrication must be fundamentally frustrating. Our formidable family has fun, fact finds and freely informs. They have found their forte. Felicitations!!!! BTW never boring.
Love your Texas star door for your Florida home. We live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and we think all Texans will love your choice of door. Great job as always!! You two are so amazing. You are totally rebuilding/restoring/making better the ole home.
Once again I enjoyed watching you work while I had my morning coffee. I almost feel quilty watching how hard you both work while I do this. Love the door and worried for you lifting it in. But you are a great team and get it done every time. Many thanks again for these videos. Be safe and bless you all.
I've always said that anything can be fixed with enough time and money and this trailer renovation pretty much proves that to be true. What a monumental project but Rome wasn't built in a day 😊. You are getting there one step at a time 💪👍👏
Doug and Ashley I want to Thank you for explaining your work this is helping so many others without your skills. I love the door. Have a blessed week! 💕🙏🌴
Just wanna say thanks for the 30 minute video. Sometimes the shorter videos feel just too short. Love following you guys, love your work. I live in a mobile home and though I would not attempt to any of that type of work if needed, rather Would have to hire out . Watching you and knowing you like things "done right" gives me more knowledge of how things should be done. I don't mind the repetition, I'm one who needs that, anyway Thanks for bringing us along yet again. Until next, time see ya!
I love watching you guys renovate as I just purchased a 1977 very rotten double wide and a fairly new single wide. I plan to live in the single while we do what you are doing with our double. Our goal is to make a permaculture village and incorporate these homes into it… this will take some years to complete and we have that time… I love following all your projects and the fact that they are not in order and tend to jump around adds to the wonderful suspense of daily life… life does not flow in a straight path… lots of zigs and zags and lots of potholes…and the fun of it is perseverance mixed with laughter. Thank you!
I really like that you show all the things you do! I don't mind the repetition AT ALL! Love it tbh! This house is gonna look so good when you're done with it! 😊❤
I don't think that any of your followers are getting bored with this project. I find it very inspiring, insightful, and influential. Please keep up the amazing work you all do. God bless you all, and thank you.
Bored!?! I'm not bored! I really love and look forward to each and every step y'all are taking, to tear down and rebuild your mobile home!! Especially when you take the time to explain, what it is you're working on and then showing us, how you take care of the problems you come across. Plus giving us any additional tricks or tips, that you sometimes have to do, just to make sure it's all done correctly and better than it was before. Y'all are awesome!! Oh my goodness!! I'm loving the new door!! My first thought was, the design looked like a "wishing star" and didn't think about it being a "Texas star", but either way, it's still really pretty!! Thank you for sharing another amazing and wonderful video with us!! Much Love and Hugs to you both and to y'alls two talented kiddos!! ❤❤❤❤
Never bored of your videos. It’s exciting to see what this mobile home could have been and see it slowly transform into something much better. Thank you for sharing 👍
Boy that was a big challenge ,but I think you don't mine challenges do you Doug. I think you have replaced 80 percent of all the wood so far or am I wrong. Love the door and all the though you put into it its a beautiful door. Had to smile when Ashley said the temperature feels like it drop and Doug says whatever and when he said what he said about his hair that was so funny. We never get bored watching please belive me when say that love everything that you post.
It’s amazing how much damage water can do. It travels so easily into everything. Termites love the moist wood. I hope you don’t find too much more. But you’re so right that’s an old mobile home and it’s held up well when no one was doing much maintenance. I heard Maverick at the end lol
Your projects are never boring. One of the things I appreciate in your videos is the way you think thru changes and how they make a more comfortable and efficient place to live. What a solid home you are rebuilding.
Beautiful choice in doors. I think it’s so cool that you can even purchase the same sized door for this older model mobile home. I had a good chuckle at my hair is how thick? Now I’m envious 😅. Great video showing teamwork at its best. I’m heading out to shovel 10” of snow, which I’m sure you don’t miss. lol be well! ❤❤
What a delightful surprise to see a new video up today. Wow, the amount of work you accomplish is amazing, you guys must be exhausted. It’s great to see the nitty gritty details of this build instead of a polished up video. You are demonstrating a real sense of what is needed to renovate this home. Great job! As always be well, be blessed ❤
Good Morning Doug Ashley Belle & Maverick,I am always amazed at all you both do.Your videos are so interesting because you explain every step along the way.Thank you for taking us along.❤️👫
All creative activities, sewing, cooking, even artwork, has a long, tedious stage at the beginning. We enjoy watching you knock the jobs out one by one, sharing in your excitement for the fun, finishing stuff at the end. Crack on!
I'm never bored watching someone else work! I think you two are the only ones I watch to the very, very end...heard the quiet Maverick voice "bye" and saw Stan guarding against intruders!
Wow, Dog I was so worried about you lifting that heavy door, I was helping you lift from my computer and sipping on my coffee great job there Dog!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍
You kids are amazing! You put your heart and soul into everything you do! Love the door!!! I own a mobile home and I so wish I had someone like you to do repairs for me. Not only do I get ripped off, but craftsmanship is missing. God bless you all!
Hi Doug and Ashley. Great job 👏. Love the door ❤. And NO, not bored at all. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Keep warm and safe and God bless your beautiful family always ❤️ 🙌 💐
Love the new door and I’m loving that y’all are putting out so many videos lately. I keep looking for another video every day lol. I’m excited to see how the mobile home turns out. Keep up the good work!
Dude, I admire your ambition in saving this vintage trailer. I think most people of lesser gumption would have just set fire to it! It is fascinating how these are constructed and your efforts to save it. The door looks great! Thanks for your videos.
When I was a kid, most mobile homes were in parks....and the part everyone saw was the tongue end...where that bay window is....or the spaces were diagonal and you would see the end and just the part from the end to the front door. First time I noticed mobile homes set with the full length visible like a ranch home, it struck me as odd. Now I'm used to it, but it was never really designed for that. I love the videos. Thanks for bringing us along!
Omg I was holding my breath when you were putting that door in I have to say that door is stunning I love it and it adds so much to that home good job you guys can't wait to see what's next yall are an awesome team
You guys are fast becoming my favorite UA-cam channel. Your interesting content (I’ve learned so much) and your consistent posts have been so enjoyable. I love your way of attacking a project one patient step at a time. Keep it up!
NEVER bored of this build journey!! I don't know if it's editing skills at work here or the fact that a mobile home rebuild is just (somewhat)quicker work but this is so satisfying viewing (for me anyway). I love all the rooster crows and bird sounds that accompany the beginning of this video! Everything you are doing is making this home so much nicer!
Hi Ash & Doug That door is so pretty. Never Bored of your content.. I look forward everyday to watch the next step!! Hello to Little man he's getting so big. It's good to see he wants to help dad.
I enjoy watching these. If im in need of repairs on my mobile home, at least i know its possible for me to actually do the work and watching you guys do his work shows me how to do it correctly and not cut corners
I just in case you aren’t aware, it is advisable to install a pier under the rim joist as close as possible to be underneath the edges of the door. This will help prevent uneven settling and a subsequent leak on your door. Also it’s always a good idea to have plywood span at least three framing members. This helps prevent a hinge effect. Keep up the good work!
It so cold in Colorado. The other time I was cold like this was in the Army stationed in Germany. I am having a hard time with this. The door is nice. I know it will look good when you are done. You guys are getting really good at this. Have a great day and week. Bye.....
Awesome. Hi Maverick bye Maverick. Love the door. Your doing great. The rooster is really loud. He's got a good set of lungs. 😊. Like all your videos. Thanks for taking us along. On this journey.
You all are truly amazing! My favorite channel! I love watching you all work together on projects! This video was intense as you all installed that nice door! You are taking something old and making it beautiful!😊 Never bored!! Bye, Maverick!💙
I was surprised hearing the door was so heavy, thought the ones at your house would be heavier. I guess the storm door attached makes sense for the added weight. I was wondering about the swing, nice you clarified your reason, it makes good sense. No, I'm not getting bored with watching the transformation - isn't that why we're here?
Hi Doug and Ashley! Well, I was late watching your video, becuz where I live it's zero and below! So we had to deal with a frozen pipe issue! Not only cut the frozen pecks out, but reroute it so it never freezes again! You guys did some really awesome work, and what a beautiful door you installed! I love that door!!!❤😊😊!!! Thank you for your awesome journey, and taking us along with you! Don't think at all your jobs are boring! I love watching every bit of it!!!😊❤
It is a very nice door well worth the extra work to get it all up to scratch. I have never ever even thought the word ( boring) when watching you all work ,more than happy with every thing you show.xx
The exact words l was trying to come up with! Thank you.
I was so afraid you were going to drop the door. I love this series, every day I can't wait to see what you're working on. I like you give an explanation for why you do things like changing the swing of the door I wouldn't have thought about the flow.
Yes, as in, how do you eat an elephant?
Yes. I makes it so we can visualize what needs to be done, what order and the expected outcomes.
That is a lovely door. Definitely an upgraded choice. Added light with privacy and it's beautiful. I am never bored watching Ashley and Doug working together. Their teamwork and focus on quality is both rare and fascinating.

Doug! Apparently, judging from all the comments, NO ONE IS BORED!
This channel is never boring! Demo and clear out is an essential part of the process. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next with this property. Your workmanship is second to none. We all know now that anything Doug and Ashley work on is done to the highest standards. 😊

I never get bored watching you all!
No boredom here! The only one who gets bored with your projects is Stan! He needs to be a lot more involved....😊
Never get bored watching you work. You explain what you are doing and give an example. Keep up the good work.
Love your Texas star door for your Florida home. We live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and we think all Texans will love your choice of door. Great job as always!! You two are so amazing. You are totally rebuilding/restoring/making better the ole home.
We aren’t getting bored! Love watching the whole process. I like the door and the added light it provides.
Thirty years ago if I would have seen your videos, I would have been renovating a mobile home by following you! Breaking it down makes it do-able!
Once again I enjoyed watching you work while I had my morning coffee. I almost feel quilty watching how hard you both work while I do this. Love the door and worried for you lifting it in. Thanks Doug and Ashley, you are never boring. Maverick was so cute pulling nails then getting distracted by a spider 😅. ❤
This home will be a lot better built than it was originally.
Never get bored with your content. I love seeing things repaired well and ready for use again, more than a whole new build.
I’m never likely to get bored watching whatever you are doing! Demo and repair are just as interesting to me as building and finishing.
Doug and Ashley I want to Thank you for explaining your work this is helping so many others without your skills. I love the door. Have a blessed week! 💕🙏🌴

Hello from Tennessee. I am enjoying your repair videos. I look at each one like a new adventure.
There is no boredom watching the tear-out and repair. You're providing a very good service.
love watching your renovations and your unique design always comes together in the end. can't wait to see the end results.
It’s amazing how much damage water can do. It travels so easily into everything. Termites love the moist wood. I hope you don’t find too much more. But you’re so right that’s an old mobile home and it’s held up well when no one was doing much maintenance. I heard Maverick at the end lol
Not bored at all. I'm LOVING this renovation. Love to watch you take it step by step, problem solving...very motivating.
Doug and Ashley nothing you do is boring. Enjoy all your demo and renovating, could watch you do this everyday.
Not boring at all. You make it look easy but I know it isn't

Good Morning Doug Ashley Belle & Maverick,I am always amazed at all you both do.Your videos are so interesting because you explain every step along the way.Thank you for taking us along.❤️👫
The door is beautiful. That home is going to better than new
It would seem the original build quality was not great.
Not getting bored with any of it, enjoy the changes
I was so happy when I saw you had just put up a new video. Thanks
I love watching the progress. You both do a fantastic job
Hi Doug and Ashley. Great job 👏. Love the door ❤. And NO, not bored at all. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Keep warm and safe and God bless your beautiful family always ❤️ 🙌 💐
Whether you keep it or someone else ends up with it, rest assured it will be a sound rebuilt structure, thanks to your hard work! Great job guys.
Wow, great job, the door is absolutely beautiful
Love the new door and I’m loving that y’all are putting out so many videos lately. I keep looking for another video every day lol. I’m excited to see how the mobile home turns out. Keep up the good work!
Door is awesome! I never get bored watching y’all. Love seeing the kiddos ❤
As a born and raised Texan, I had this door growing up. 🤣
A pretty door and doesn’t look like a standard mobile home door. The screen will be such an advantage in the summer months.
Never bored. Always like watching your videos.
Dude, I admire your ambition in saving this vintage trailer. I think most people of lesser gumption would have just set fire to it! It is fascinating how these are constructed and your efforts to save it. The door looks great! Thanks for your videos.
Just imagine how many people are living in trailers that need all this work. Great job as usual you two!
When I was a kid, most mobile homes were in parks....and the part everyone saw was the tongue end...where that bay window is....or the spaces were diagonal and you would see the end and just the part from the end to the front door. So they fancied up those parts and left the rest plain. Which is why you have the sectioned siding...to look like some kind of outside wainscoting. First time I noticed mobile homes set with the full length visible like a ranch home, it struck me as odd. Now I'm used to it, but it was never really designed for that. I love the videos. Thanks for bringing us along!
Why would you think we are getting bored? Your sub numbers are going up. It's great to see houses get cleaned up and repaired.
Keep it up!
We'll try our best!
I never get bored. I love the door. Wow what a lot of work. Looks beautiful.
Never bored, unless you don't post.
Hi Ash & Doug
That door is so pretty.
I love the reasoning for changing the swing on the new door. Makes perfect sense.
I have so much respect for Doug & Ashley! That was a huge job! Thanks for sharing 👍👍
Doug and Ashley, it gets exciting every video to see the transformation of the mobile home, it is going to be beautiful! Much love 🤗❤
So when you were showing how badly the door was rotted out, the rooster crowing cracked me up! Excellent comic relief!!!
Bye.....
as a former resident, I know it can be COLD...but it seems to be everywhere right now
You are taking something old and making it beautiful!😊

I was surprised hearing the door was so heavy, thought the ones at your house would be heavier. I guess the storm door attached makes sense for the added weight.
