@cloudninjas I like it! There's definitely a lot to learn. I've been looking at picking one up for a home lab. Just waiting for one to come along for the right price
do you have the latest bios efi file to be downloaded from your sight for when I download the efi file from dell my screen fills up with a bunch of strange characters
Thanks for all the good videos! I have a question, actually a tricky situation. Somehow my iDrac is down, I cannot login to iDrac because I don't know the password and user name (not default, broken). I'm trying to reset it. However a tricky situation is in Bios, even if i connect a VGA to monitor. My keyboard can't be recognized by the server, so I cannot access Bios physically. And I also cannot boot up the server because It doesn't have a running OS. It sort of blocked all of my options to fix the iDrac. Do you know if there is a way to do that? Like reset the iDrac password to root/calvin? I think once I have access to iDrac, anything else can be fixed pretty easiiy. Thanks for the help!
Amazing Master Classes!!! Thank You Scott!! and the other Ninjas!
Much appreciated Tomasz!
Nice series! Is it safe to skip several versions or is it better to take small steps?
Appreciate the positive feedback! Yes you can skip older versions and update to newest BIOS.
Love your videos! They are so informative. Would the process for the r630 be the same as the r730?
Truly appreciate it! We also have a series on R730. Check it out. Happy Holidays!
@@cloudninjas will do
How'd you like the R730 series?

Could you copy the .EFI file onto a simple CD-R disc and upgrade from optical drive?
