These are the same as Prima and Davenport. I have all those palettes but I think this is cool because u get all the colors one palette, or most of them
They are all manufactured by the same company many colors are the same between all 3 But yes this one is the most diverse🥰 Thank you so much for watching and Happy painting!
If and when you ever use very inexpensive watercolors and once they dry you can rub your hand over it and will see and feel the chalk-ness student/professional grade watercolors simply have better ingredients that bind the pigment leaving it smooth Fixative is another product (I don’t use) that can be added to a watercolor pencil chalk etc type art so that it is coated with a layer of protection it helps the art last longer it’s usually a spray
Oh Kai! I don't have the White Nights but for you I'll get a set and try it Hahaha! I can only speak to what I know and in my experience mungyo is awesome but I will def do some research and get back to this Thank you for watching and your comment and leading me down this exciting new product path💕
@Kai White Nights paint are a professional grade paint vs. the Mungyo set which is student/craft grade. Additionally, White Nights does not make half pans so if you looking at getting a 12 color set of Mungyo or a 12 color set of White Nights paint, you'll get more paint with White Nights because they only come in whole pans. For the money, the White Nights is a better deal for the simple fact that you're getting a professional grade paint. However, it really boils down to personal preference. Denise Soden of In Liquid Color has several reviews on her channel but a particularly helpful resource is her Top 10 favorite watercolor brands video ua-cam.com/video/h0k4LVZkRzk/v-deo.html . She only covers professional grade paints in this video; however, if you're looking specifically for a student/craft grade paint, she has an older video that mentions her favorite student grade paints. Good luck!
I completely understand I had to save up a bit to get it but it was a wise investment in my art If you watch my newer videos you will see I use this palette often and it seems will last me a long while Thank you so much for watching xo💕💕
I have both I use this one more mostly because it has more colors and I really enjoy that plus I’m used to it/them (colors). The Cotman is awesome they were a gift so I have used them just not as much quality wise very similar
From Ana ohhh thank you soo much the thing is i wanna get new watercolour i don’t really care about the amount of colours cause ik colour mixing well but i really want good affordable watercolours so i’m just really confused these are the only two available and the sakura koi ones so i’m really confused
Honestly Ive had them close to 2 years all my paintings are still lovely I bought them from Amazon and there are many reviews talking about how great the colors are because the pigments used are of good quality Hope that helps
I removed the black & white & metallics and split mine into two small palettes of 21 warms and 21 cools. I love them.
Ahhhh that sounds like a really nice setup actually 👏🏽 Yes I love them too!

Can you elaborate on what you mean by chalky and to use a fixative??

Do they make refills? For individual colors?
😱Great question! I don’t know, I’m sorry. But I really hope so🤞🏽🤞🏽
Wondering if I should get the Mungyo 12 pan set or the White Nights 12 pan set. What would you recommend?
