No doubt, i respect Cove for his unbelievable writing skills. I'm to this day comprehending the sheer beauty of his lyrics is ISOSG. He is also an incredibly gifted singer and guitarist, it's a shame he's letting those skills wither away. I would love to hear more of his beautiful music...
This song was written by Anthony Green, like most of the songs... This one in particular about " the song goes from about a relationship with my mom, to meeting these guys for the first time. And having everybody come out here and get together.""
it is totally just reverb. he is not using auto tune... which is why some of the harder notes, he misses. it is pretty amazing. chris is an amazing piano player.
Cove is a really great singer, and I don't think they used auto-tune for this cause you can hear the mess-ups no offense, just about every singer messes up lol but this is really good
cove kinda messes up at around 2:48-2:55 but we love you anyways cove =) this song is amazing, playing this song with a piano was an amazing idea, it came out wonderful
Damn. Ive learned to play piano, and this is my new favourite song. I reckon Cove shouldve calmed the singing down a bit, its a little bit shrill. Also, it wouldve been great if the guitars came in with Alex. That wouldve blown me away... Still fuckin' A of a job. Fair play.
this version is by far better than anthony's acoustic version. you guys act like no one uses autotune, when in fact, ANTHONY GREENE USED AUTOTUNE ON TRANSLATING THE NAME. how do i know this? EVERYONE uses some form of pitch correction on albums. and on most live dvds, in order to get a high quality performance, they make everything sound better. like underoath used it on survive kaleidoscope. its not uncommon. cove is an extremely talented singer either way. very unique and pleasing to the ears
@WokSz He can sing when he's had a break from moving around and losing his breath and is able to just stand there and sing. Don't get me wrong, i still like Saosin with Cove, but their live performances are pretty lacking. Saw them on Projekt Revolution and the rest of the band was amazing, but he was pretty sloppy. I understand moving around and running around the stage can make you a little short of breath, but he seems to be a little bit more out of shape of other singers.
hahaha, not enough of that is there? It doesn't matter what the program is, the fact is it's auto tuned. All of the vocal doctoring programs do the exact same thing.
@SecondCityAv3nue It's erroneous to think EVERYONE uses it, and it IS a turnoff if you can detect it. I'd rather hear a vocalist's strain come through; there's an emotive connection to it, you know?
@hydrokiller007 i agree. saosin wen't in a complete different direction after anthony, but it wasn't necessarily worse. i just don't think Cove should sing Green's song.
anthony green really does sing as high pitch as he does. Cove is good but his range is nowhere near as high as anthony's. i appreciate and love both of their music none more none less than the other. it sucks that Saosin didn't work for the both of them :( on a serious note, real good version!
@WickedRiverBand yes music evolves, thats fucking obvious, but cote006 has a good point. saosin broke through with cove, he's a big part of the band for most fans, so i think whoever takes will definitely have shitloads of haters... just look at chiodos, their new singer is a talented motherfucker but he has so many haters cos he's not craig owens... just saying...
Takes big f$&%**% balls to sing that shit. Hell yeah Cove! Beautiful job.
2006-2016 10years ago so many good memories
Goosebumps. So many goosebumps.
Amazing. One of the best songs ever made and one of the most incredible live performances i've ever seen.
he's not using autotune here.
its called talent.

Definitely my favorite song on piano!!!! I love Saosin! ♥
they don't make music like this anymore???
you cant compare it to anything else. just fantastic.
fucking most amazing thing Ive ever seen preformed in my life. This is the best version hands down.
Glorious.

voto em saosin com dois vocais, valeu, flws!
Thank you!
Best version of this song besides the original Translating the Name version, imo. Very well done!
Awesome!
i really missed saosin band,,,, when will you tour to Indonesia again?
it is totally just reverb. he is not using auto tune... which is why some of the harder notes, he misses. it is pretty amazing. chris is an amazing piano player.
Awesome song :)
definitely NOT auto tuned... his voice still breaks here and there, but, that's Cove...
Both work well for different moods
it kills me!
Cove is a really great singer, and I don't think they used auto-tune for this cause you can hear the mess-ups no offense, just about every singer messes up lol but this is really good
My love :)
This song is still so fucking good
no autotune here
so epic. i came
@croft1224 I think they did, they just weren't distorted. 'Cause you can kind of see Beau at around 3:28.
@SecondCityAv3nue Finally someone Who understands!
cove is still talented . . .
.
cove kinda messes up at around 2:48-2:55 but we love you anyways cove =)
this song is amazing, playing this song with a piano was an amazing idea, it came out wonderful
:') beautiful!! :D
ohh yea
q vocalista fodaa!
he will never be as good as anthony...
@EverDark16 Don't know why cove gets all this hate like wtf he's amazing
can u put the hole seven years from the dvd i love the vocal lesson befor
Wow
This is so fucking good.
wtf, autotune? where the hell yall getting this shit from, its called talent, just give cove his props...
Damn. Ive learned to play piano, and this is my new favourite song. I reckon Cove shouldve calmed the singing down a bit, its a little bit shrill.
Also, it wouldve been great if the guitars came in with Alex. That wouldve blown me away...
Still fuckin' A of a job. Fair play.
i feel bad for who ever has taken coves place. he's got a lot to live up to and prove. i feel as if whoever it is, is gonna have a lot of haters.
you`re welcome ;)
word
does he play piano, when they do come close on their album the grey?
Fucking awesome :)
FUCKINLOVEIT
there was no autotune
you can't and most people are just hateing because they know they will never be this good even ith autotune
this version is by far better than anthony's acoustic version.

fuck yes
nc nc nc.
:D
LOL Chris fucks up @ 2:28.
who's the piano guy.. is that their bassist??
Even though there was auto tune, you couldn't really hear the dynamic shift in notes, so Cove DID hit those notes, I wish I had this dvd hahah
if not better
to be honest I don't know why you are all winging about cove auto-tuning, every band does it for live dvds, if you don't like it then don't watch it.
@SecondCityAv3nue It's erroneous to think EVERYONE uses it, and it IS a turnoff if you can detect it. I'd rather hear a vocalist's strain come through; there's an emotive connection to it, you know?
well god thats all you had to say.
auto tune, why lie and auto tune ur live dvd?
Why "on my vein"?
"i think Gold in my vein"
can you sing like that?
@hydrokiller007 i agree. saosin wen't in a complete different direction after anthony, but it wasn't necessarily worse. i just don't think Cove should sing Green's song.
autotuning means a digital device corrects the pitch of the singers voice.
anthony green really does sing as high pitch as he does. Cove is good but his range is nowhere near as high as anthony's. i appreciate and love both of their music none more none less than the other. it sucks that Saosin didn't work for the both of them :( on a serious note, real good version!
say your sins
comparing cove and anthony is unfair. anthony has a better voice, but cove has better range.
If only he really had some, right?
the auto tune is really noticable at the end of voices
that auto tune is kind of painful to listen to. otherwise its pretty fucking great.
theres not THAT much of autotune. chill out ppl lol
its okay he uses autotune-which you CAN use live,
its theire dvd ,nobody wants to sounds suckish on theyr own dvd (:
to many cigarettes
I can sing much better than Cove.
