I didn't need this guide before because those files transferred perfectly into Final Cut just by dragging them, do you know what has change ? (recently)
I I had the one before 10.8 I guess. Not a very old one. Nothing has changed. I went back to screenshots and in a matter of fact I truly had those mts files just dragged from my finder straight to the Final Cut. Blizzard. Ps thank you so much for the videos they are very helpful!!❤️
Great video . The problem that I am having is, finalcut does not read my Avchd card . It shows the card as a Camera but the clips do not pop up in the preview
Try right clicking on AVCHD, show package contents. Then on the BMVD or whatver its called show package contents again, then go into the STREAM folder. Worked for me!

Hi, what if I want toedit with the AVCHD files but leave them in place?
Try dragging and dropping the video file into your timeline. Does that work? I think you have to copy them to library.
What did you use to record this AVCHD? Thanks!
