This video is an early Christmas gift for mixed media artists. I appreciate the organization of the video, the chapter headings, the transcript, and the links to products used. I'm sure these videos take time and dedication, and your viewers appreciate your efforts. Your work is beautiful and inspiring, but here's the best part: by breaking it down step-by-step, even hackers like me can create something I'm proud to give away.
Oh Cerion, a thousand thank yous for this wonderful video. I cannot tell you how informative and inspirational this was. I don't think I've ever seen a step by step process including your thoughts process and decision making before. It's exactly what I craved. Sometimes collage can look so helter skelter and to see a formulaic process and priceless. I've always been a huge fan of your makes and now to see one being created is just invaluable. ❤
Thank you for sharing your wonderful technique. I never thought of using the ephemera that way. I LOVE how your cards turned out. They are beautiful! ❤
I recieved Tim Holtz tags, ephemera, sissors , backdrops ECT.. everything you used, including advise on cupcake tins for sorting. OH what fun. I'm going to have to get over my O.C.D. I had stuff everywhere. My cards turned out beautiful , I did a little altering because I wanted to see everying, but they still looked like your style. Thankyou so much Cheiron.
Just wanted to let you know that your tags are beautiful. I had saved this video in my Bookmarks and finally sat down with my tags and followed your instructions step by step. Thank you for making this tutorial. I love your work.
I loved watching and listening as you explained your thought processes through each step of the cards. Watching in “real” time makes a huge difference in helping me understand the steps. Thank you very much for sharing your creations!❤
Great tag cards and lots of helpful information to carry me through the process. I’m glad to see how to make splatter with the foundry wax. Yay! You are a pleasure to watch.
Oh WOW! Thankyou so much for the share. I love your style. You made it look so easy , They are beautiful. I said I was done buying, guess I lied again.
I'm so excited I found you!!! (I subscribed!) I have tons of Tim Holtz products...just purchased this year but really didn't know where to start. This project is perfect for me to start using my purchases! I love your style and explanations. I'm gonna start binge watching your videos 😄 I really thank you for your video and can hardly wait to get started on these collage cards. Again...thank you so much!!!
What a fantastic tutorial. Thank you so much, I think I'm ready to try this style of crafting. :D I def need to learn how to sew, it really elevates the project.
This video is great! I've been working on my collage skills this week and sometimes I get stuck. I watched the video from Sevenplaza and now I'm watching you. This is soooo helpful! I am mesmerized by this terrific video! Your creative process for us to learn and be inspired! Love that you used your finer as a mask and wonder how the heat gun didn't fry the adhesive dots.....more of your magic! A million thanks - I will revisit this so often. Hugs!
Thank you so much for sharing this! I have admired these tags many times and I’m so excited to know that I can do something similar. I hope you have a wonderful holiday❤️
I’ve never made tags like these before but I’m so inspired after watching this video today. One question-can I use modge podge in place of Tim’s collage medium? TIA
MIne are all cards. You can totally keep as just tags, but since I stitched all mine with the sewing machine the thread would be on the back. You could always cover the back with colored paper and then just punch the hole through if you wanted to (or just glue onto another tag to hide the stitching :) Hope that helps!
I found you through Margreth at sevenplaza. I subscribed and I am looking forward to watching your videos. This project is fantastic. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
WOW!! There is a method to your madness. Thanks for the step by step and helping me to know that you can never layer too much. Muriel
You are so welcome! Thank you for stopping by!

You can do it! Thanks so much for stopping by!
I’ve never made tags like these before but I’m so inspired after watching this video today. One question-can I use modge podge in place of Tim’s collage medium? TIA
You could totally try it! I never use modge podge so I am not completely sure...sorry if that is not super helpful.
Does the collage medium dry pretty quickly?
Yes it does!
Are they all cards? What do you back them with, if you wanna keep as tags but provide writing space on back? Just wondering what you like…
MIne are all cards. You can totally keep as just tags, but since I stitched all mine with the sewing machine the thread would be on the back. You could always cover the back with colored paper and then just punch the hole through if you wanted to (or just glue onto another tag to hide the stitching :) Hope that helps!
