The biggest issue with this fucking boss for me is that the field of view isn’t big enough on mobile and I hate playing on landscape mode. Might have to do this on PC so I can actually see the god damn shields.

I've been dreading this fight for a long time but when i finally got here was a bit anti climatic. I have a max core 8/8/9 cinderella with 2 lines of elemental dmg, she practically soloed it, killed it a few seconds into phase 2. liter, crown, sbs, alice, cinder - 399k cp. Love your videos. QTE anyone can take down. I did it with crown, everyone else covering to avoid stray fire.
The only reason why I keep losing to this boss is because of the timer. Otherwise, I would've wiped the floor with it because my team keeps surviving everything else.
You should focus on trying to break the shields. When you see the replica slipper extend out. Charge up the attack of Red Hood and as soon as you see the power surge out of the replica slipper fire the charged shot. But if that charged shot still cannot break the replica glass slipper and you are sure you timed it right. Then, unfortunately, you just have to wait until your team gets stronger.
Defeated this boss before Rapi Red Hood came out, using a 363K team with Liter, Crown, Naga, Cinderella and Red Hood. I tried this with a higher CP team at 370K with Modernia, but having Naga in the team output more damage than the team with Modernia. Shield in the second phase is without doubt the hardest part of the fight for people don’t have enough CP as I was only able to destroy the shield when I used Red Hood’s burst at the right timing. I defeat this boss without destroying the shield in the second phase. I used the Cinderella’s Burst during the start of the second phase before the shields are form and the health went down to around 120. Used Red Hood to fast charge during downtime just to used as much as Burst as possible. From I understand 360K is usually the recommended minimum CP for this fight which sounds about right if you want to ignore shield and having trouble destroying it.
you can break the slippers (only way for suckers like me with 350ish k cp to beat it), just couldn't figure out what my timing problem was. someone said you have to do it with a single attack in attack mode when they open, but before that blue liquid fills them up. but even with a pierce unit i don't do dmg for some reason.
Pierce should work. My Red Hood was dealing a bunch of damage. But yeah, I just watched the guy's video and yes. It's like in phase 1. You have a 2 second gap to shoot the expanded shield before it becomes immune to damage.
You need a certain amount of attack power, when I first found it, a full charged sniper shot only did 1 damage. I could only break it in 1 shot with b3 boost.
For those who still struggle at around 360k-ish power, try to do the RH - Crown - RH burst right after the phase change (like before the slipper decide to become stupidly tanky), you'll reduce its health quite a bit and the rest would be much easier
I have reached this point and while I got the meta nikkes, the combat power is too damn low for me to do anything. I think I may have reached my dead end for a good while unless I OL them in time.
Attempted for a good hour. My deficit is only like 25k but my main DPS' are modernia and RH. I can't get past the shields in phase 2 as modernia does nothing and RH doesn't do enough. I still don't get how the guy got the shields down in phase 2.
For phase 2, in addition to needing to destroy the replica glass slipper with a single hit/attack. You also need to get the timing right. That window is very tiny. It’s when you see the replica glass slipper charged with power and about to discharge that power. How others lacking CP do it with RH is they time it so that they use RH’s Burst to one-shot the replica glass slipper. Another thing to keep in mind as well, you need to break all 4 replica glass slippers to be able to bring down the shields in phase 2. Yeah it’s outside of my skills capabilities. Good luck!

Yeah. Cinderella can out DPS Red Hood and has the element typing advantage. Ein, Scarlet and Maiden: Ice Rose are good too. You want attack buffers like Crown and Liter.

Attacking the shields in the second phase prevents them from firing projectiles at your team. The goal is not to destroy them. I tried both Ein and Dorothy, their damage was more or less on par with Scarlet. Not sure about reducing the number of shields. Didn't pay attention to that. But iirc, it always remained 3 layers of shields.
There's 2 guaranteed ways to do more damage in phase 2: 1) Increase BP to the point that the debuff is neutralised 2) Temporarily disable the energy shield. (see pinned comment) Three other less reliable ways to do more damage: 1) Use skills that deal damage true damage, like Ein's Burst skill 2) Use characters with pierce skills like Red Hood 3) Use Nikkes with skills that deal damage indirectly like Dorothy's distributed damage.
You don’t need to timing precisely to destroy the shield. You need to use only 1 hit attack to destroy it. In your footage, you can’t destroy the shield because MG, SMG, SG with low attack per ammo hit the shield first. If the first hit can’t destroy the shield, it will immune to next hit. You only need one hit of SR or RL to destroy the shield. Other Nikke should take cover if you are in full burst.
Shame I cannot confirm your comment. But it does sound weird. Cos what are the chances of more than 1 bullet hitting the shield at the same time outside of Burst? Surely a MG, SMG doesn't fire more than 1 bullet at a time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@cannedjar Seems like you don’t get what I said. My point is you have to destroy the shield with only one bullet. If that bullet can’t destroy the shield, it will immune to all other attack.
@@cannedjar basically the mirror can be touched once each time, MG/SMG have low damage per hit, but high hit rate, while RL and SR have big damage in one hit, my guess is the way they programmed that is once it take a single bullet it becomes immune to the following bullets

Step one is how most idle gachas work. And it's most prominent in Anomaly Interception. Once you get to a stage where the deficit crosses a certain ratio. You practically do no damage to the boss.
@@cannedjar yeah but in nikke you are kinda expected to play at a large power deficit once you hit a certain point in the campaign. This boss certainly isnt the only dps check in the game but its certainly the most egregious. Once it enters phase 2 with the 4 shields you basically do 0 damage and need to waste time waiting for right oppotunity to break the slipper. Not to mention the fact that you are severely restricted in team comp as you need strong one shot units like alice, redhood ect. because the slippers can only take one instance of damage before going completely immune and if that happens youre basically forced to restart as theres pretty much no way you can actually reach the damage threshold at that point. Of course if you have enough power you can simply brute force the entire fight and ignore the shield mechanic all together but if you are 30k cp deficit or below thats not possible at all. The worst part is that even if you do all the mechanics correctly you still need to be able to kill the boss with more than 20 seconds remaining because it does an attack with unbreakable cancel rings that one shots your entire team and the cherry on top is that even if 1 or 2 nikkes survive, the boss remains immune and you cant finish it off even if its on 1 hp.
@@slaternitta1824 I mean. You've just described why having sufficient power is required to beat this stage. Without sufficient power, you can't break those shields. The minimum power required to clear this boss is to be able to break those shields with a single hit. So you don't need an OP team. You just need a Nikke that can break those shields with a single hit.
@@cannedjar No i just explained that even if you manage to break the shields you need to be able to finish the boss before it charges its one shot mechanic where it becomes invincible. Even if you can break the shields you still need a strong team or need to be very close to the cp requirement. Which is a problem if you need to swap out units with high power in order to fit in a unit who can consistently break the shield and do enough damage

haha. most players would be overpowered for the stage. I'm purposely delaying my team's growth and it was still at 360k, before I accidentally made them too OP. And the team is just at 406k!

Yeah. It’s usually better to roll with Crown/Naga. As the healing from Naga enables you to have extra 20% damage buff from Crown permanently.

Wrong... The Phase 2.
You can break thoses slippers... Try use Ein and Dorothy. You can reduce the Shield Number and do alot of DMG.
