Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden 新宿御苑 1

Unbelievably in the middle of Tokyo, and almost next to Shinjuku Station, is a beautiful wide open space. I went in Winter, but it was still gorgeous. Give yourself half a day to enjoy it with a thermos of tea or coffee.
