Till this day, this was the most special sports run of my life. All I've ever wanted since I began watching hockey was to see my Preds go on a run like this. When we lost in G6 in the SCF, it was a weird feeling. Usually, I'm devastated, crying, and just a mess, but I wasn't for this run. All I felt was pride. This run was special regardless of the end result and I'll always cherish the memories. Here's to hoping we can finally get over the hump and win it all!
Hell of a run. Was in downtown Nashville for Game 4 against the Ducks. Place was bouncing at noon (and it was a Thursday). Complete pandemonium once it got close to puck drop.
Damn that was hell of a run. It was fantastic season for Preds. It felt like a dream, still does. Refs were what they were but for me Nashville was the 2017 Stanley Cup champion. I’m so glad to be Preds fan. We’ll beat everyone’s ass this season. Let’s go Preds!!!
This was the biggest screw job in NHL history! Pittsburgh got lucky and didn't deserve this cup victory... Nashville was the way better team but the officials were blind and didn't do their job correctly. There were too many missed calls and three blown calls that should have been reversed. Nashville got screwed in the final and everybody in the NHL except for the state of Pennsylvania will admit it.
Penguins fans are scum and I’m glad they’re getting screwed. Karma is great when it happens to such an entitled fanbase that needs not one but two generational players to save their franchise
As a Kings fan, this cup run reminds me of the 2012 LA Kings team. Both wild card seed teams dominated their opponents. The only major difference was that the Kings won the cup, while the Predators came up short in the finals.
Horrible officiating, I mean absolutely horrible. Nashville should’ve won that cup no doubt.
Yep, Nashville was by far the better team. Officials cost them three goals in the Final
My hawks got swept in round 1 but I rooted for Nashville the rest of the way...I was really pissed about them getting screwed over
absolutely and im a flyers fan
So true, Go Preds!
@golfer435 we definitely would not of won in a game 7 at Pittsburgh. But we should have won game 6 though
While my Sharks got out early, watching the Preds go deep was the next best thing. Thanks for the memories.
ninersdd21 you make the hockey community great👍🏻👍🏻
I felt the same way, it was as if the preds beating the pens would somehow redeem the Sharks loss from the previous year.
Great and unbelievable run to watch.

It was a great run. Go Preds!!
Thank you for posting this. It brought back so many memories from that postseason, most good, and some bad. Go Preds!

Lawrence Dockery Proves Nashville is an awesome hockey city

Man what run. Too bad we got robbed of game 1 and game 6 or else we could be getting ring very soon. Oh well. Time for revenge next year! Great vid!
14Viper14 im not even a preds fan but i wished they would have won the cup and this is coming form a flyers fan and i live in Philadelphia
14Viper14 very true I’m a blackhawks fan I wanted you guys to beat Pittsburgh 😰😰
9:11 SNIPE.
This was beautiful
The best part of this run is we beat the hell out of Chicago
The memories are coming back. Just hope that we can win 4 games in the Stanley Cup Final this year instead of 2.
I like this I love this

Just the West side of Pennsylvania. I'm sure all the Philly fans on the East side were just as pissed as the rest of us during that final.

Still makes me sad to think about, love our boys
I like those empty seats at Honda Center
Alot of them haha
Robbery, that's the word I describe the cup final with.

Let's Go Preds
Colby Flatt let’s go Ice Bears
PredatorsGamingPS4 yes sir let's go Ice Bears
As mentioned on preds twitter yesterday, it could have ended in different fashion if ryjo and fiala were healthy. Either way a great run
That deflection goal by Cody McLeod was the only one I’ve seen him get with us lol
This run was a lot of fun. Easy team to root for
Bro the refs loved the pens and the only reason they won the cup 2 years straight
Round 1 Game 2 still gives me PTSD
Love predators
I miss this Era of preds fans. It hasn't been the same since the finals. I guess it happens when they raise the price for tickets 3-4x
And the team never being that good to make a run always effects It
I'm here because I watched a Norm McDonald bit.
Rebound scoreeee yessirrr!
23:55 Still can't help but feel sorry for the linesman who blew the whistle early there.
I don't, he should've been fired imo. Maybe 2nd worst call in NHL history.
I loved how absolutely silent it was after that 4th goal in Game 2 against Chicago. Why did we fire Lavi?
Ryan Ellis anchored this defence
And I'm here wishing the Leafs would just make it past the first round
"Score, Sissons!"
Hawks have never been the same since this preds series man lmao
Preds were good at this moment in time, but in 2019, they have really gone downhill. Not as formidable as they once were
Six years later watching predators beat the pens…. I don’t like pens
I think we gonna go again this year
So do I :D
Agree
rip
Did Rinne get 2 assists that 2nd game?
Yes
It’s the predators weren’t facing the Penguins they would’ve won the Stanley Cup
19:38
The guy at 0:13 in the back
They should've won game 6 but the refs sucked
