"Gone with the Wind" is the highest grossing film adjusted for inflation, not "The Wizard of Oz". I guess it's a matter of personal opinion as to what film describes the era better, as most go with the above mentioned "GWTW", but the gross revenue is a fact.
Came here to say this too
I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS SERIES HAS ONLY 40,000 VIEWS!!
I like all these videos, but I'd like to tease the host a little regarding his pronunciation of the words "theater" and "suburban." ;)
Haha! Thanks so much! Totally fair to pick on the South Texas/Louisiana accent :)
It is an awesome summary of the golden age of Hollywood! Thanks guys, you really helped me with it :)
Nice cup of
. Zygote st
"Gone With the Wind" was not an MGM production. MGM distributed it, & they provided Clark Gable to star in it, but the film itself was produced by Selznick International Pictures.
I love this channel. Thank you!!
Thank you for the love! We love you! We'll be adding more series like "A Timeline of World Cinema" to our channel soonl
good info but wish the background music was a bit less in volume. pretty distracting :/
hey, would you guys appreciate if i worked on subtitles in english and in portuguese for these videos? I'm from Brazil, so my gramma isn't that great, but my comprehension is pretty fine, and it would be a pleasure to help you guys and also those who want to understand what's said in the videos
Great video guys! I have to ask, why is the narrator sitting in the dark? In other vids it was apparent he was sitting in a theatre. No big deal, but I liked the ambiance in the other videos.
One of our bulbs broke midway shooting. We learned our lesson though. Always have extra :)
I love how he pronounces the word, "Theater"
Great video, but its "thee-ah-tur", not "thee-ay-tur"
