I drove 39 hours nonstop to this Scribble. I talked with Eyedea after this battle, he told me it was the only time he had ever been nervous. Take that as you will.
He prob would have had the ability to if he wanted but I doubt he woulda been interested in still battling 2 decades later especially learning and perfecting a new technique against new dudes who cut their teeth in the new era and have less to lose. I think eyedea was more interested in transitioning his career into songs with deep philosophical concepts. TBH I bought First Born back in 03? I think? And it was interesting but I didn't LOVE it. However he was what? 21 max? With a low budget, and he had a lot of growing and learning to do. He would have definitely broken new ground with hip hop/philosophy concepts. Definitely was going to blaze his own trail. Anyhow RIP eyedea

he has premeditated punch lines when he battled verus when he freestyled for fun. the amazing part is how he is able to pull out a punch line for anyone he battles and tweak it to related more to the person he's battling. It's like he goes with a rough draft and the final copy comes out perfect from his mouth. he goes in thinking hes fat and always eats seconds then when it comes out of his mouth hes like "hes fat he's measurin at a size that can't be reckoned by the time I take a bite his ass in already grabbin seconds" and builds an entire verse off of one punch line from the dome. Dude is a genius.
+Alec R. Nah Mac Lethal is just shitty celebrity comparisons and awkward silences, his punchlines are good, but his flow and gimmick is garbo. See Adeem battle against Mac and you'll see
