    This dude is a BEAST. Wins insane contested catches, over the shoulder, one handed, straight up mossing DBs, and a physical runner after the catch who isn't afraid to go over the middle. To top it all off, after making big time catches in the clutch, he consistently runs back the ball to get ready for the next play immediately to keep the pressure on. Excited for this dude to come to Carolina and ball out! #KeepPounding

      I think so too...he will struggle with separation early though,and has to be schemed open...for some coaches like Sean Payton that's not a big deal, he would use him like a RB out there. Other coaches want the guy they don't have to scheme open,who separates on every play, like Olave or Jaxson Smith Njigba. His career will be great if he can develop reliable separation skills at the next level,and lands with a coach who wants to/likes to use him. This is the type of guy that gives Sean Payton ideas💡 he would use him like a RB the way he did Micheal Thomas,lots short,quick stuff, taking pressure off the O-line cause 1,2,3,balls out to a predetermined 2-10 yard spot from the line,Mingo getting it in space and just turning upfield and running with it. Hard to bring down a 6'2" 220 LB wr with a full head of steam...even harder to do it 10 times in a row,getting beat up only to have the 11th one sail right over your head for a TD. Really great prospect, I'm a little biased but I hope he winds up with Sean Payton. He usually gets all his offensive starters from the later rounds for the most part,and gives most of the higher picks go defense and the offensive line. I watched him keep the saints on top year after year with a list of UDFAS and late round picks,he literally prefers to have guys with a limited skill set and scheme them open,than the one do-it-all guy who costs you 30 million dollars like Tyrik Hill. That's how Sean was able to build a winner almost every year without having a QB on a rookie deal. He can actually control costs on offense to a large degree and still make it work,and reliably put points on the board...then on the other side lol,you have to face that defense full of first rounders and high end free agent talent. The man knows what he's doing,Mingo would look great in his hands...after two seasons you'd be saying Jerry who?

      @iamgms32 you said he's not as good of a separater lol. Aj brown not all that fast either. It's not like he's got fast burners and just smoking dbs for 70 80 yards Untocuhed lol. To me this guy is faster than Aj brown. Aj brown ran like a 4.5 at the 40 and this guy is a 4.40 speed.

    • @famousbigwes9392
      @famousbigwes9392 Рік тому

      @iamgms32 and of course aj brown runs better routes but he's not faster than Mingo lol far as separation goes. Aj brown is good at tracking the the deep ball but most thr time the Db is running with him lol so he's not as fast as you think. Aj just has great hands to come down with the deep ball but he's not catching Lotta bombs untouched to where he flew by a DB

    • @iamgms3231
      @iamgms3231 Рік тому +2

      @@famousbigwes9392 Seperation as in coming out of the top of his routes and setting up DBs. What exactly are you trying to argue? There’s so many guys that run 4.3 that can’t separate and then you’ll have guys running in the 4.5’s that are great separators. A.J. Ran an official 4.49 at his combine and Mingo ran a 4.46 official. That’s less than .05 difference and rounding up Mingo is closer to a 4.5 than a 4.4 flat as you claim. And either way that’s irrelevant when speaking about who’s the better separator because AJ Brown is much more nuanced as a route runner and has a better release package. I literally gave praise to Mingo yet ur trying to make it seem that he is currently on an All Pro tier at the moment and an elite receiver in the league as AJ Brown without playing a snap 🤣

      You know I noticed that too...he had less than average QB play, and you can *almost* tell from the tape that he was absolutely trying tk make the most of every play,every time he got his hands on the ball. Impressive as a runner after the catch,he is like a bruising RB out there at 6'2" 220, enough speed to get it done as well.No real 2nd gear he just accelerates steadily to top speed. Very impressive on the short stuff as well,the timing in particular. I really like him, I'd draft him over Jordan Addison ,Josh Downs,Zay Flowers,and Jalin Hyatt. I really wouldn't be surprised to see someone snag him in the late 2nd,early 3rd,though he is almost always there at #115 in my saints mock drafts.

    • @barbaraGobert31
      @barbaraGobert31 Рік тому +1

      I think SOMEONE will grab him in the 2nd round,was just musing on that myself, somewhere after say pick #50 🤔because he will prolly be gone early third, this class of WRs is short on size. Be a good pick up for the giants and I can definitely see the possibilities Mingo would add to that offense. It would be a great wrinkle to that Saquan/Jones lead rushing attack/offense to have a big 6'2" 220 LB wr running around out there like another RB,being generally hard to bring down for the guys in the secondary, and doing the things he can do between 2-10 yards of the line of scrimmage. Tank Dell wouldn't be a bad idea either...despite his size he is very,very good and is a complete WR believe it or not...he can do alot of things ,but he can't be 6'2" 220 and harder to bring down than a RB lol. With Tank Dell that knuckleball of a Giants offense would Gain a fast ball, and a slider to that pitching rotation. With Mingo you just get a change up. I Like the idea of Mingo to the giants in the 2nd(though I'm a saints fan since 1990, Elisha Manning grew up in New Orleans ,so I like them) and you got your thinking cap on, but I challenge you to try this : Go back and look at Tank Dells film,and his body of work at the senior bowl, and tell me if you don't think that Giants offense wouldn't be better served and score more points with a guy like Dell at #57, who can be your slot receiver for the next 10 years, run routes out the backfield, and even line up some on the outside and streak by defenders and take the top off than with Mingo at #57 (though it's a great pick,and that's about where he will go). If you had one or two starting WRs I'd say go with Mingo, but you don't, you're in a position that you need someone who can score points and take pressure off the O-line,Jones,and Saquan and actually THREATEN the defense at every level,keeping them honest,and from loading up heavy inside to stop the run. Truth be told though, I've scouted lots of players, ran 100s of mock drafts and just looked at where your picks fall and which ones you have...if it were me,and someone came to me and said: your life depends on getting the giants a STARTING WR, that can Treaten the defense at every level,and keep them honest against the run,and you can't use picks #25 or #57 this is what I would do, I would take picks #89,#128,and a 4th or 5th rounder from next year and trade up to between picks #65-#75 and select Marvin Mims WR Oklahoma Sooners. I think he could end up being the 2nd best receiver in this draft after JSN. You could also make the same trade and probably land Cedric Tillman out of Tennessee, and while HE will give you a solid multi year "plus starter" at WR with a 3rd round pick,he doesn't exactly threaten a defense in the same way a Tank Dell or a Marvin Mims does...it really is a bad year to need to draft a wr, but there is some talent there after the first round between picks #50-#150. You just have to choose well AND have a plan for who you choose. If I were the giants, coming off a wildcard win and needing help on offense in a weak draft, I'd take the guy that would add the most points/yards and I think that'd be Tank Dell. If I was building for the future I'd trade up in the 3rd to draft either Mims or Tillman...it just depends on if I wanted an X ( Tillman) receiver or a Y(mims) receiver really.

    One thing I can't quit thinking about. No disrespect to his college QB.....But can you imagine how good he will be with an NFL caliber passer throwing him the ball. There were countless balls here on this reel that would have been even bigger with a decent throw. He was constantly having to settle himself after reaching. In the NFL, with an NFL passer, that will speed up big time and I think he will be way better than folks even know.

      Before there was Terry...there was the guy THAT TAUGHT TERRY EVERYTHING HE KNOWS! His name is Mickey Loomis,GM of the 2009 superbowl Champion,New Orleans Saints! But knowing the falcons...lol,they will do what they always do,ignore everything else in the draft early,aside from pass catchers lol and even if you do draft Mingo, you fo realize the STRENGTH of the saints in im our secondary? Our BACK UPS could start on mist other teams in Adebo and Roby, you'll just be adding another wr that we can easily cover cause our cbs are the best in the league. If you really wanted to do something you'd take Peter Skronski at #8 ( who can play ALL FIVE offensive line positions from LT,to LG,C,RG,and RT) and have one of the best most consistent offensive lines in the league, you'd find a nice rb in this very deep class to put into rotation with Allgeier/Patterson and have offense basically DONE or you go defense with your top 3 picks, say Van Ness, Foskey, maybe even Jalen Carter...no where is it written in stone you all HAVE to take a CB.To me the value for the falcons is at Oline...you literally get to chose either the 1st offensive lineman off the board, or the 2nd-4th rated guy at another position. Think about it, you could have your pick! Desmond Ridders blind side protected by Paris Johnson the next 10 years would be a beautiful thing,and it'd keep your young QB healthy and on the field. I honestly would bet money fellas that's going to be Mr Terry's pick at #8...either Peter Skronski or Paris Campbell, prolly Campbell cause he can start and play the blind side better. They're committed to ridder ( and they should be you got something there) and said that ALL off-season! So they're basically telling you the pick is going to be OLine,cause of where thry pick,what they said,and how the board shakes out. Remember this comment a week from now, Mr Terry prolly takes Paris Campbell at #8 and it's not a reach at all, there is strong all pro potential there. If Jalen Carter falls to #8 I dount Mr Terry takes him. I've watched mickey loomis as saints GM for like 20 years,and Terry was his assistant for half that amount of time, their styles are very similar. Paris Campbell will be the pick. Unless they fall in love with Joey Porter Jr or something but I doubt it, OTs like Campbell are few and far between.

      Eagles fans say this same crap about every prospect...you know you only go the one extra pick at #10 in the 1st...from the saints. You don't have double picks in every round...js cause eagles fans seem to think they get everybody.

      Lmbo 😂😅 as a saints fan I hope to GOD you all draft a 5'9" qb and pair him with possession wrs lol...good luck with that, we'll enjoy the enevitable sweeps that will occur every year! The fact the panthers are drafting Young tells me all I need to know. You all want to be good so bad...well, you gotta shot, frank Reich is a hell of a football coach, let's just see if your GM and everyone else in the panthers organization realizes this and stays the hell out of his way,and give him what he asks for? They couldn't do that in Indy, even though he made them relevant.I highly doubt the panthers even know what they have. I really dont think the Bryce Young thing is gonna work, and I'm not saying that cause your panthers fans,I mean it. I just watched the same thing with kyler Murray and he isn't even a top 15 QB,already holding out and demanding more money,cause of a handful of highlight plays...nevermind the dozens of plays he leaves on the field every Sunday cause he can't see the field we'll enough yo adequately man the position on a down in,down out basis. I really thought the panthers had wised up and were going with Stroud, that would have at least worried me for season after this one ( no rookie QB is good,but for him it would of clicked in his 2nd year,nothing the 3rd or 4th like Cam) and beyond. If you draft Young though i honestly see you guys staying on the bottom for even longer,and having to do yet another rebuild,like the new york jets or Cleveland browns. With a strong head Coach (who was a former nfl QB!) Levis should have been the pick or stroud. You should have traded up to #4 or #3 and took Levis, Now you got an opportunity to take the sure thing in stroud,and want to gamble on a 5'9" QB who looks like Johnny Manziel 2.0...good luck with that.
