- In the 1990s, the best in the world; today, one of the TOP 5 leagues on the Old Continent, but with each season losing distance to the Premier League and the Bundesliga. This is the image of the Italian Serie A, which is definitely past its best years. Great cuisine, high temperatures and historic architecture no longer impress the world's top footballers. Although clubs from Milan, Turin and Rome still feature prominently on the European stage, with their stadiums often filled to their maximum capacity, the rest of the league clearly has a problem with that.
In this video, we have presented all 18 Serie A TIM stadiums for the 2022/23 season. Unfortunately, most of them are visibly outdated, with a few having already crossed the 'magic' 100-year barrier. At the top level of the competition, for the first time ever, we will be able to see Silvio Berlusconi's Monza. However, we will not have the chance to witness the Genoa derby at Luigi Ferraris due to Genoa's relegation to Serie B. Who will be Italian champion and which Italian stadium do you like the most? Serie A needs modern stadium
It's such a shame Serie A doesn't have more modern stadiums. But then again the smaller ones exhale soul.
Many Italian clubs are planning to build or renew their stadiums, but the italian bureaucracy is one of the worst in the world. It takes months, if not years, to get the permissions to start the job and most of the time they use poor materials, such as prefabricated.

If they used the stadiums to show Arthur 2 On the Rocks starring Dudley Moore , they would be filled each night
Seeing as you need a certain number of stadiums over 40K in capacity to host a Euros or WC, Italy will massively struggle to win any bid without many many upgrades. The irony of them wanting to knock down the San Siro, the biggest and most iconic of all is crazy. There should be a consensus to modernise it.
Even though the capacity is small, JUVENTUS STADIUM is the best currently on Italian soil 😎

Serie A stadiums seems freeze in the 80's. Not 2022 decent stadiums in Italy except Juventus, Atalanta and Udinese arenas.
