Just a fantastic job and money well spent, I just bought a 1962 Calkins trailer for my 1970's 15' Grumman Sport boat my thoughts is to have it looking like yours. I do have a question? One of the places that I go fishing I have to travel on gravel roads, outside of installing mud flaps on my truck what else can I do to prevent gravel chips on the fenders and frame? Hi. Thanks for the comment! Sadly, there's not a lot you can do in those conditions. The best defense is a good strong clear coat. That will protect the finish and give you a surface to buff when minor scrapes occur.
